My stomach just couldn't handle it anymore. The detachement from reality was giving me gas, so I just canned the whole idea.

If they were so worried about recruiting (which killed Solich, pay no attention to his record, his tenure was over due to his complete disorganization recruiting-wise) why not keep Pelini (who the fans and players wanted) and focus on recruiting defense and the running game?
There's absolutely no need to scrap the system. Not after running over Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis in their own house with the title on the line, after beating on Al Wilson and Leonard Little with two straight 90+ yard drives on the ground to send poor wittle Peyton onto the NFL with no national championship, after dominating Spurrier and his chuck & duck crap with about 2,973 yards rushing.
