I think he was using oakland as a bargaining tool. Green has a massive ego, so he wants to prove he can rebuild the cards. Plus there is no way that oakland would pay him that much. I say this because I beleive he will be signed very soon.

Green will want alot of control on personel issues.... He doesn't have that in Arizona with Graves.... In Oakland he would probably be allowed to make those decisions now

read the articles. This is the only place he will get power. Like it or not Green will be the coach.

Actually, no he wouldn't! All decisions for and about the Raiders goes through one man ... Al Davis and I don't see him giving up much power.

Hey, I admit being wrong, glad I was.....just so used to being disappointed.....i stated how I felt and just what i thought based on what was being reported....

Still would rather have Jimmy Johnson, But either Dennis Green or Jim Fassell has us with a guy that has won at this level.

Kudos for the Cards for getting it done early so Green can put a good staff together!!!! The Cards are starting to approach their decisions in a better way.

I have no problem admitting I was wrong....won't be the last time and certainly not the first time..... didn't realize I was on a board with others that only make correct decisions

Those of us who are right all the time, reserve the right to yank the chain of you lesser mortals.

All kidding aside, it's a curse, not a blessing, going through life without any surprises. Being right all the time really takes its toll.
