Without him and Fitzgerald where to get hurt- we are in trouble with just Breaston as our go to threat

If we are content to have a running game as we had last year or that is all we end up having even though we try to improve in the offseason- we are in trouble without a Fitz, Boldin, Breaston lineup because those WRs make this offense work

Paying Boldin and Fitz does not seem out of line if it gives this team the scoring potential it had this year

You cannot take for granted the heart which Boldin gives this team. Never heard any player being upset with him and him and Haley arguing is nothing considering Warner does the same and then consider Haley might not even be back

We got to the Superbowl. You can guess all you want on what might work without Boldin but we know with Boldin and players like Dansby we can get to a Superbowl and we came close to winning it. We do have some cap space with a formula that works if we choose to pay it.

And I sure hope Warner and the Cardinals agree on a few more years

Anybody that argues with you will get totally blasted. I will agree I want Boldin on THIS TEAM. If we could trade Boldin or Breaston and get a Dallas Clark or a Tony Gonzalez I would probably rather have THAT OFFENSE.

I really cannot see with our cap space why we cannot keep Boldin and Dansby on this team. Get a HB in the draft to replace Edge and compliment Hightower. But we really do need Boldin. We beat Carolina without him but would we have beaten Alanta without him? Would we have had the record we did without him considering all he did early in the season. Would Fitzgerald be as dangerous in a 16 game schedule without Boldin. Heck, Boldin getting hurt and coming back from that injury said more to the young players on this team on a positive note than any of his complaining on the sidelines might have done on negative.

Yup we defintally boldin, and fitz locked up long term to have another shot at getting to the sb with it be eaither Leinart or Warner. I mean Breaston is a great upcoming wr but he would not get the same attention that Boldin gets on him. Oh yeah get rid of Fransisco though he sucks!!!!!

and I like Breaston. I really like Breaston with Fitz and Boldin. We freaking found a system that works with a minimal running game and the idea of trading Boldin makes me uneasy. Breaston has the speed which can really stretch the field like we always wanted to have with Boldin and Fitz to make us unstoppable, and the fact when they kicked it into gear against a defense like the Steelers says it all.

At the start of the season it was about his contract,I bet with all the accolades Fitz has gotten he wants out even more now. Will you guys be able to accept trading him if he still wants to go somewhere else & be the top dog?

I know Boldin is going to want serious money but I do not think he will ask for the same amount of money Fitz got, I think Fitz's unreal numbers in the playoffs will only help him now realize he is not worth the money Fitz got. Many people now are calling Fitz the best WR in the NFL and I don't think even Screw Rosehause can say Boldin is his equal and then get a equal contract. I think Fitz's performance has only helped dealing with Boldin actually. And I will accept it if he leaves because in the end, millonaire sports athletes are far from my reality of life LOL

now Boldin wanting to be top dog and showing that character even more even though he is not Fitz would make it easier if he then left :)

Jerry Rice was my first football hero as a child. I followed him since the start of his career until his retirement. I'm one of them that believes Fitz very well may be better than Rice, but it'll take a long and healthy career for him to break some of Rice's career marks. It is possible tho. ;)

OK OK, im not going to repeat anything ive said before, but im REALLY tired of this "boldin is the heart of this team" argument. you sure about that? Id say boldin needs to get in line behind fitz and warner in that department. this aint 2006 as cheesebeef so eliquently put it.

I want Boldin to remain part of the team, but only if he wants it. If he still wants to be traded, then I want at least a 1st and a 3rd for him.

If hew's still un happy and doesn't want to be here I'd rather have something right now. You never know how a draft pick will turn out, I'd rather have a proven quality player for him (Clark or Gonzalez).

Yup! I suspect that a decent contract offer keeps him in Arizona. But if he's adamant, I would not take less than what Roy Williams, a significantly lesser talent, was worth to the Cowboys. (a #1 and a #3)

Hey even Chad Ocho Cinco sounds willing to return to the Bengals next season.

Once again, this "the Cards can't keep two WRs for big money" is NOT coming from the team. Whisenhunt just yesterday said they want to work out a long term deal with Boldin. Trading Boldin has never been on the table as an option. And, I don't think it's going to be in the future either.

He's too important as a leader to the team. It's undervalued by many here, but not to them. We're too close to mess with chemistry NOW.

Getting rid of Boldin would be similar to dumping Larry Centers in 1999. It's like giving the team a heart amputation.

Fitz has become the heart of the team, IMO. Just look at Larry's effort compared to Boldin's on Harrison's INT return. Q is just jogging after the play while Larry is running over his own teammates to stop him.

There's a reason Boldin lost his Captain's patch. I bet you see Fitz wearing one next season.

WRONG! As soon as the Int occurs Q starts sprinting after to make the tackle. He gets engaged by a steeler Farrior I believe who tries to block him. Q gets pushed all the way out of bounds by the time he finally disengages from Farrior and looks up and around to get his barrings(jogging while doing so) and then starts off in a sprint again after the play. Even though he was a good 25 yards behind at that time.

First off, that's probobly the farthest thing from Fitz' mind. He wants Anquan back, no doubt about it. And how the Cardinals take care of Boldin now, will have a big impact in whether Fitz stays beyond the 2011 season here.

Bank on that.

Quan is the unquestioned emotional leader along with Dansby and Dockett on the D side of the ball. Wilson prefers the backround but leads like Fitz on the field of play. Nobody questions all their abilities on the field or IF they put it all out there or not. Anquan's toughness and dedication is unquestioned. IMO.

Who's pushing for a contract to make Boldin happy more than anyone else? Um, that would be Fitz.

When Fitz was getting hammered, I supported him 100%. And, I've always said Fitz is a better overall, or true, WR than Boldin. But, this talk of dumping Boldin, and downplaying how important he is to this team, is just as crazy and wrong as all the critics of Fitz were. IMHO.

Man that whole fitz restructure thing is getting way overblown. First the question was asked of him and all he said was yes. It was Fitz idea he was answering a question. Second he didnt say he would take a pay cut he said restructure so no money out of his pocket. Third Fitz would have answered that one little question the same way for any of the players on the team, not just Boldin.

No it wouldnt, not even in the slightest. It isnt like Boldin or Fitz are best friends and hang out all the time. Edge and T.Smith are roommates do you think its going cause Smith from not wanting to re-sign here. Dansby and Wilson are best friends if Dansby leaves do you think it would stop Wilson from trying to get an extension. Its a business and each player knows that. Unless the coaches or front office totally dog Boldin in the process it isnt going to hurt Fitz feelings one bit. Fitz wont sign here past 2012 becuase of a trade of some other dude 3 years prior?

Do you expect them to say any different? Show their hands?

Graves said during super bowl week that want him back but they will reassess the issue after the game.

Of course they want to re-sign him and will try to. But an actual deal getting done is two different things. Does Boldin even want to stay?
