I hear ya!!! I was livid today & my GF is a Cowpies fan & she couldn't believe those BS calls. Anyone saying they didn't change the outcome of that game isn't a realist.

Those are the 2 games & plays that came to my mind as well today. That Giants loss when the WR clearly flipped the ball out in the closing mins also came to mind. Hell they wouldn't have even made the playoffs with that loss (I believe) & eventually won the Super Bowl that year. Lol

These games are soooo close today & one bad call can put an L in the column for any team. Sure we had a chance to overcome, but bad calls by the refs are magnified in games like today, especially when it's more than 1.

Tell Dallas (no Dez catch) Detroit (PI) & Green Bay (fail Mary) that a bad call doesn't matter :p

Btw did you see the Tate TD today where he dropped the ball for an Int & it was ruled at catch? Really? Wow. Dear NFL you still don't know what a catch is lol

Did not but it does not surprise me. I really want to enjoy the games and I understand when calls are not accurate due to the speed and visibility of a play but plays today really made me question that there was any excuse... how can a ref not see Minter get popped in the back on the same play they call him for after a play looking right at it or a guy holding onto a guy's jersey and then watch another game with any interest in its validity lol

Or when he sees a ball batted out of the back of the end zone on a potential game winner

Or when they see 4 legit blocks in the back of a pick 6 that goes 103 yds on the last play of a half

Yeah they don't swallow their whistles for certain teams lol

no one here had a problem when there was a BLATANT face-mask on Aaron Rodgers in our playoff win on the fumble return for a TD that wasn't called. I'm REALLY sure the NFL wanted the Cardinals to advance in the playoffs there, right?! I mean, that HAD to be a conspiracy to keep one of the most stories franchises in sport out of the next round!

I know there is an entire tread on Ed hockoli but needs to be fined and sent packing. He has to the worst head ref. As soon as I saw him as the head ref today before the game, I knew we were in serious trouble. Sure seems like he has it out for the Cardinals for some reason. I have yet to see him make a phantom call for us. It's always against us!

There was no face mask called because it is not against the rules to touch the face mask. He did not grab and pull it. This was discussed many times and was called correctly. Here is the explanation:

Here is the explanation from the N.F.L., which affirms the no call, courtesy of the spokesman Greg Aiello:

Rule Explanation from the final play of the Green Bay Packers-Arizona Cardinals game

A “face-mask” penalty is a judgment call that is not reviewable by replay.

Rule 12, Section 2, Article 5 of the NFL Rule Book (page 81) states that “no player shall twist, turn, or pull the face mask of an opponent in any direction.”

The Rule Book describes the penalty as follows:

“Penalty: For twisting, turning or pulling the mask: loss of 15 yards. A personal foul. The player may be disqualified if the action is judged by the official(s) to be of a flagrant nature.”

The Rule Book describes an approved ruling as it relates to face-mask penalties (page 81).

“A.R. 12.12 – Third-and-10 on A30. Runner A1 runs to the A33, where he is tackled by B1, who incidentally grasps A1’s face mask on the tackle, but it is not a twist, turn or pull. Ruling: A’s ball, fourth-and-seven, on A33. No foul.”

All the naysayers saying bad calls don't lose games, I have this to say.

One you can probably say yes...2 you're walking a gray line...3 puts a team behind the 8 ball...4 directly affects the outcome. I'd say we had a least 4 go against us today, so let's not act like it didn't affect that final score.

Truth be told, we had our opportunities and simply blew it. If this is true that the league leans one way or the other and the officials had marching orders, we had the opportunity to shove it up their collective arses and simply blew it plain and simple. The officials didn't throw 2 picks, one in the endzone on a potential game winning drive. The officials didn't give up on a simple lob pass play that went for 88 yards and a nail in the coffin score. The officials didn't line up offside which cost us an interception. Yes the officials made some horrid calls but none of those calls(most in the first half) had a direct impact on the game but the inability to make plays when it counted did.

We should have won and blew many chances, Palmer missing Brown in the endzone, floyd not dragging the foot, Massie's penalty on the first drive, Cat missing a FG etc.

We had a potential safety not called because they missed a blatant hold, we had an INT that was a bad decision by Palmer but was picked off because they didn't call PI the ball was tipped up and picked.

hard to watch

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. . . Just like the Rams game the Cardinals can only blame the Cardinals. Monday is a big game. we need to get to 5-2.

We got shafted pure and simple

+1

That was a horrible called, one-sided game.

The Caridnals still should have find a way to win, but the zebras were wearing their yellow and black striped uniforms yesterday.

The non-call on Floyd was horrendous.

Just to be clear, I'm not buying conspiracy against us I'm saying there were a bunch of bad calls and most of them worked against us.

Whether that is bad refs or a tendency for calls to favor the home team I don't know.

We had a chance to put the game away in the first half and didn't.

There is no way you can win on the road if your team makes mistakes and you couple that with major mistakes by the officials.

That first half was one of the worst officiating jobs I have seen this year. Then the Cardinals decided to one up the officials in the second half.
