May I ask why you are always predicting that we lose or praising other teams?

Because up until last season, I saw 17 years of futility.......but I never did say that in this thread, I was merely quoting Peter King.

Fair enough, I should have figured as much. My father's been a fan for 40+ years and even after last season he assumes we're gonna lose every week.

LOL I'm just like your dad. Every week I used to assume the Cards were going to find some goofy way to lose. Could hardly enjoy the wins because of expecting the Cards to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

However, this year I'm finally getting more relaxed about the Cards games. Since mid season 2007 the Cards are 27-16 (5-3,9-7,3-1,10-5) and this season they didn't lose a single game to a bad team like Detroit or StL. In fact they haven't lost to a truly bad team since the second 49ers game in 2007.

Hard to continue the old pessimism under those conditions. (Even though they still do goofy stuff like beat the 5-1 Giants and turn the ball over 6 times the next week and then beat the 10-1 Vikings and turn the ball over 7 times the week after that.)

Very afraid.

We're still the defending champs and we're better than we were last year.

Until we're defeated it stays that way, no one should want to see US in their playoff bracket.

But we're there and it all boils down to playing the game.
