Not if he cuts him without compensation. This is Dhop's doing - not Monti's
OMG lemme make this as simple as possible for youRight Sir. DHop runs the roster.
Just went over this, scroll up one spot homieNot if he cuts him without compensation.
Just curious, does player management fall under the purview of a "General Manager"?OMG lemme make this as simple as possible for you
With Dhop saying he's not playing in Arizona anymore no matter what... it doesn't just hurt his chances of getting a big new pay day somewhere else - it also gives other GMs every advantage in the world because they know Az doesn't want to pay Dhop millions of dollars to sit out and pout. This isn't very hard to understand and has happened a million times in the NFL and other sports too. Dhop was even acting as his own agent until recently - which consisted of him bad mouthing the Cardinals which is also a big red flag for other interested parties
This really isn't that hard to understand, but I'm guessing you're purposely trying not to understand it so you can continue using that dorky ass "3rd choice GM" phrase you'll never have to get trademarked
Dhop wanted gone long before Monti got here lolJust curious, does player management fall under the purview of a "General Manager"?
That's not what I asked. Is managing the players part of the job of the GM? Didn't Monti meet with Nuk? If the end result of the Hopkins maneuverings is a terrible deal for the Cards, that's all on Hopkins and Monti is blameless?Dhop wanted gone long before Monti got here lol

I'm saying if you look at the timeline Dhop was gone before Monti ever got here, and that Dhop had zero interest in playing on this team or finishing out his contract - I think it was Monti who talked Dhop into finally getting an agent as it would help both Dhop and the Cardinals move on from each other - which is exactly what I would've doneThat's not what I asked. Sorry, no. If he gets cut it is an awful administrative move. The situation sucks? Monti can put on a helmet and get the job done. He accepted the job; now he has to actually do it well.Just went over this, scroll up one spot homie
He actually said it directly after a yoga class right here in central Phx, Arcadia to be exact - and Dhop also said our quarterback sucks. If he said it here he's likely saying it everywhere, yes?It shouldn't be hard to give us the quotes.
We'll wait...
Totally agree here!I'm saying if you look at the timeline Dhop was gone before Monti ever got here, and that Dhop had zero interest in playing on this team or finishing out his contract
I hadn't heard anything about this...Hop has an agent now?- I think it was Monti who talked Dhop into finally getting an agent
Well sure, a divorce was always in the Cards. We'll judge Monti on the return he's able to get, right? Looking so far that he's overplaying his hand, but maybe he has a trick up his sleeve.as it would help both Dhop and the Cardinals move on from each other - which is exactly what I would've done

"The wideout added that he hired an agent “to help me not get the short end of the stick.”Totally agree here!

lmao1) So the guy who lost $5m+ as a result of his 6-game suspension will pass on his $19m salary in 2023?
2) 'OMG lemme make this as simple as possible for you.'
This is a fantasy!
3) P.S. the CARDS can do a simple restructure of his deal and save $9m against the Cap in 2023 and postpone any decision in his case to 2024.
If Hop doesn't want to be here, why would he agree to restructure?P.S. the CARDS can do a simple restructure of his deal and save $9m against the Cap in 2023 and postpone any decision in his case to 2024.
lmao
1) Dhop doesn't want to miss out on any money - Dhop wants a trade and even more money, tried to strongarm his way into getting it all but reality and a league full of talent had other plans
2) I've been pretty damn clear lol
3) Now you get it! Somebody give Quebec a cookie!
If Hop doesn't want to be here, why would he agree to restructure?
