The issue is that Craig Robinson is a terrible coach. They have talent on that team which allows them to beat anyone on a given night yet their coaching allows them to lose to the Texas Southern's of the world.

He might not be a great coach but I agree they do have some talent but I don't think it's like they have great talent being wasted. A quick look at their roster I'd say the following kids are absolutely pac 10 level players.

Jared Cunningham
Joe Burton
Roberto Nelson
Calvin Haynes
Omari Johnson

Borderline Pac 10 (guys who other Pac 10 schools recruited)

Lathen Wallace
Daniel Dean

Starks, Brandt and Collier I haven't seen play so no idea how good they are.

this team shoots better than last years, getting rid of the Tarvers seemed to help there. Nelson has only played 6 games, last year while he was ineligible it seemed every OSU game they'd say Nelson was the best player on the team in practice so getting him back and playing obviously helps, but he didn't even score against UA.

I didn't see the game, UA shot 56% from the floor it appears they lost it with 19 turnovers and 13-24 from the line. OSU only shot 42% and 2-16 on 3's but they won it apparently at the line 24-32.

So far the 2 big surprises in conference are OSU 2-0, and WSU 0-2, I'm still not convinced WSU won't end up with a better record than OSU.

Right now I'm not convinced the conference gets more than 1 team in, 2 if someone other than UW wins the conference tourney.
