The only good team in the east is Detroit. They are built as a western conf. team. They have big men.

What other teams in the east could remotely challenge the west?

Orlando?
NY?
Indiana?

Orlando - Needs a Big Man Bad

NY- That Cap is crazy, No Big Man

Indiana- Lotto if O'Neil and Miller are gone.

If Indiana can re-sign the Millers, then they should be a top 2 team in the east, but they've never been able to put it together mentally. O'Neal has just come out and said he will re-sign with Indiana so that takes care of one of thier guys. The lineup looks pretty good on paper though.......it looks a lot like the Kings lineup where they have fairly solid players at every position, but not really any all-stars except O'Neal (Sac has Webber).

PG: Jamaal Tinsley
SG: Reggie Miller (FA)
SF: Ron Artest
PF: Jermaine O'Neal
C: Brad Miller (FA)

Key Bench Players: Ron Mercer, Al Harrington, Jonathan Bender
Rest: Fred Jones, Jamison Brewer, James Jones, Jeff Foster, Austin Croshere, & Primoz Brezec

I don't know if they play on re-signing Reggie Miller (maybe he'll go play for the Lakers and join dream team 03-04 for a ring), but if not then Artest can slide to SG and bender can start at SF.
