Then Levi Brown has to go. Has to. He will be responsible for several season-ending injuries if allowed to block Matt's blind side.

Ugh.

Not to mention Matt needs to play better!

He's had one start good lord man. He didn't play great in the first half by any means but he lead our TD drive when we needed it and put us in great position to win the game. He wasn't even practicing with the first team this week was he? I agree that he needs to play better but I'm not expecting him to come right out and drop 250 yards and 2 TD's in his first start in ages.

I never said I expected that out of him although I don't think one extra scoring drive is to much to ask. But that doesn't change the fact that he will havevto play better.

No question... too many punts. With Warner, we could have easily put up more points on this Titans defense.

Back to original intent of the thread... yes, Levi sucks and must be replaced.

Look at the TOP. And on the drive after the turnover Wiz took it out of his hands and called two screens in order to chew up clock.

The Holding call by Wells on that drive was huge in retrospect.

I came and said last week that Leinart looked like crap in a win and I had my doubts about him.

Now this start he looked good for finding out before the game he was playing and playing the NFL's hottest team on the road.

Everyone wants to make definitive statements about Matt's future.

Can't we just all agree today was a step in the right direction? I was very excited about 5-6 of those throws and his accuracy was uncanny in the second half.

The final drive the Cards had, there was a hold, then a run, then 2 called screen plays. What can Matt do there? Whis was saying, here Tennessee, have the ball.

The guy can play in the NFL & I will always believe that and be a better than average to great QB.

Yeah you were ready to kick him to the curb and said there was no way he was gonna be our QBOF last week. I hope you are gonna practice what you preach about making definitive statements concerning Matt's future.

Yep! Way too conservative playcalling there. If all other conditions remained identical, I believe Whiz would have called it the same way with Warner playing. The holding call on Wells on what would have been a first down was crucial. Make the first down there and the outcome likely would have been reversed.

you know -- while Levi has had his stuggles

He was pretty solid today. He have up basically one pressure early, but was solid after that

I dunno, this thread feels like "I am frustrated about the loss, so lets complain about our favorite whipping boy"

Agreed I just don't get this Levi whipping when Gandy was a turnstile again today. I only got to see parts of the game on the Redzone today but based on what I saw Levi looked better than Gandy.

Dennis Dixon of the Steeler's who is a no at so highly thought after QB prospect looks every bit as serviceable as Leinart when put in the same situation. Heck he may even look better.

Guys on other teams always look better than the guys on your team until you've won a couple of Super Bowls.

Not so frustrated about the loss. I was one of Levi's BIGGEST backers...caught my fair share of heat for it and more. However, he gave up at least two pressures...both of them he was burnt immediately that led to hits on the QB and others where he at least made an effort to block before getting beat, oh...and another false start.

That can't...CAN'T happen when you are guarding your QBs blindside. It leads to sack/fumbles and potentially putting the QB on the shelf for a while.
