That's Mr. Riff-Raff to you!
Who is McNeil?
Freeman McNeil?
Who is McNeil?
This thread sucks.
I have Colston going to Green Bay with the 5th choice (at the beginning of this thread)what about colston?
This thread sucks.
I agree with the importance of the Offensive Line. When Paul Brown was inventing the Cincy Bengals everybody in the sport was interested in who the great genius would take as the first choice in the draft. He chose a CENTER (a guy named Johnson i think). When asked about it Brown replied "It starts with the football"! But in the Jet's case You can't abandon getting a marquee quarterback...The MOST important position on your team.imo when building a team you must start with the o-line and d-line cause if you want to win you gotta be able to run and stop the run and i think brick will be like odgen and pace plus the snagged mangold who i thought was a great pick. besides pennington was voted comeback player of the year so he couldn't have been that bad
This thread turned to crap so fast, you would've thought Gee started it.
I agree in that a ST player is a luxury ...if you don't know what he's going to do.when you ad a player like him in the top 10 you need to be closer to winning right away
Could we then get do-overs on ALL drafts???
I think we should all lay off a guy who doesn't spend every waking moment watching or reading about football. There's no shame in not knowing how many years Gore has been in the league...now, if you don't know how many years Boldin has been in the league...*jk*.
I don't understand the purpose of making posts like "this thread sucks". What? Does it get shut down now that someone has taken the time to let everyone else know in such sophisticated language the pointed displeasure they have for the thread? But, to save my own silly post from becoming a "your posts about threads sucking suck" post, I will add my typical silly input on how we should learn from last year's draft.
I don't know, maybe Chicago did the right thing. Save some money, avoid tremendous regret and cower out of the first round. They, however, got Hester, a true playmaker who they forgot knows how to play offense. When I watch their offense against a halfway decent defense, I'm stunned they made it to the Super Bowl.
I would like the 2 minutes I spent reading this post back, please.
Nobody would take Devin Hester?
I'm not saying what their PRODUCTION would be for different teams. I'm just saying that General Managers would have SELECTED these guys who produced the way that they did. McNeil, Colston, Ryans etc. would all have been in the first ten picks.Sorry but I think these threads are pointless, because it's not like those players would have given the same production on a different team. ie. Thomas Jones, if the bears would have somehow drafted him before us that year, we'd be playing this game of What if's with Thomas Jones. It's pointless in my mind. But that's just my opinion man.
