It's not that we lost a ton of shooters, and we certainly didn't lose any in the Shaq trade. It's more of a problem that Raja and LB haven't been consistent. LB has been off and on, and Raja has been off pretty much all year. Also, Grant Hill is not a 3 point shooter. It's made it a little harder to spread the floor. The Suns can get still shoot a ton of 3's, but they aren't making them. They miss guys like Tim Thomas, Eddie House, and even James Jones. In this system, lack of shooting is a problem. That's why they were so desperate to get Giricek or Barry.

What he said.

It's not the Shaq trade that we lost shooters. But since the beginning of the season we have not had any shooting. Barry would have been a big signing for the Suns. Not to sure about Giricek. Besides not playing any defense we are not hitting the 3's like the last few years.

We didn't lose shooters they are just out of sync is what your saying, which is fine but they can find their shots with a little confidence and things start going our way. Eddie House and James Jones are bad example as those guys combined barely contributed when they were here. Could we use a Tim Thomas heck yeah but not for what he got signed for. This team will be fine they just have to get a few games and get some of their cockyness back. When we get it rolling we can still hang with anyone we just haven't seen it yet with Shaq, but I trust that Nash, Grant, Amare, Bell all being the solid vets they are will be able to make it work with Shaq.
