Ya, Adrian Pagai will be awesome!
Not only are we going to take the wrong guy, but we haven't even signed him yet 13 months early.
Same old Cardinals!!
They are still in great shape to get Leon Sandcastle tho

There a joke in there somewhere.
Clowney or Bridgewater.
Good debate.
I take Bridgewater ALL DAY LONG.
Comparing that to Levi Brown and Adrian Peterson is a bit of a stretch, IMO.
Cause you can compare Peterson to Clowney, sure.
But Bridgewater is WAY WAY WAY better then Levi Brown in comparison as a prospect.
The Cardinals "pooped the bed" in a very Pace/Johnson way in that draft, when it came to Levi Brown. Kinda like Michael Floyd last year, IMO.
I'm not going to say that Floyd's lack of production wasn't on him at all, but it takes 2 to tango and Floyd didn't have a competent QB throwing the ball to him for most of the season. I have heard things that early in the season Floyd was having issues with lining up and running the wrong route etc. and that would totally be on him, but the one game where a semi-competent QB was throwing him the ball he did quite well 8 catches 166 yards and a TD.The Floyd pick looks pretty bad. We definitely did not get the kind of production that you would expect from the #7 pick in the draft.
And considering that WR was already a strength of the team, it makes the pick all the more dubious.
Very, very disappointing, and probably one of the reasons Graves lost his job.

MF was the 13th pick, not the 7th.
Thanks for correcting me sir. My apologies for that error. That actually somewhat mitigates my frustration with MF, because in my uninformed opinion, the 7th spot is right about the dividing line between "players that should start and be effective from day one" and "players that should be able to challenge for a starting spot and that should eventually turn into starters" (basically the rest of round one).
Sorry for the short initial reply, had a grandkid on my lap and couldn't type much. I do like your cut off line, well I'd move it to top ten instead of 7 but same principal. WR's typically do take longer to develop and as you note further down the mess that was our QB situation after Kolb went out didn't help MF's numbers.
And Duck! Please don't throw ONLY my boy Kevin under the bus. At a minimum, he should have some company. I bet you could probably have guessed that I would have been fine if KK ended up being our week one starter for the 2013 season.
Finally, for Bodha and CardsSunsDbacks, who bring up the issue of QB play, I have to agree, at least to a certain extent. But my rebuttal to this would be to point to play of A. Boldin, who, even with the likes of Jeff Blake as the Cardinals QB, still managed to flourish. With that said, I'll also admit that Lindey and Skelton and Hoyer were not at the same level as Jeff freaking Blake (But Kolb was at least as good as Blake).
All of this to say that I'm not writing Floyd off yet. He certainly deserves a chance to work with only one QB from week to week, and find his equilibrium with Fitz in our offense. But I was more impressed with Bryant Johnson's Rookie season than I was with Floyd's.
Maybe Travis Prentice will come back and render this entire thread moot. Moot I tell ya. Moot.
