Arrington seemed to do really well with flare passes out of the backfield. I can recall a couple really good gains only to be brought back by penalties.

who goes from the current roster. Also my choice at the moment is Stewart. I think I would leet go of JJ. He has shown little in the time he has been here.

We get another back, and someone like Tim Euhus should go. Not necessarily another back.

Someone needs to tell JJ that the 1st down marker is actually two yards farther down field than it actually is. That way, when he fall down, it will really be a first down instead of two yards short.

he has had two all year --

one against St Louis and one against Washington--

what is forgotten are all the 3rd down swing passes and draws where he has had to make just one guy miss to get a first down and he hasnt.

Pre-draft, not only was I on the JJ Arrington bandwagon, I was in the front seat (Russ Smith was driving). I have now officially given up on JJ.

I think that JJ has steadily improved and was pretty solid as a 3rd down RB this year...it's way too early to give up on him. Look at what happened with Garrison Hearst and Thomas Jones...it took them 4-5 years to develop as bona fide NFL backs. While JJ may never be a feature RB, he's definitely has the potential to be a good change of pace back, which, these days, is what most teams want, a.k.a. the "thunder and lightning" combo.

A good point Mitch. Funny thing is that most RB's hit the ground running if they are worth their salt. In our case we lost two guys who in fact did take a long time to mature. I am sure if I look around the league I will find some more like that. Hey, Grant was a waiver/trade pick up from the Gmen although not a five year wonder.

I disagree, Yoda.

Glad you disgree but I have seen everygame he has played for the last 2 years and he is the real deal. He runs about a 4.46. He can take it between the tackles or go out side and make the corner. He has above average hands. Mendenhall has that second gear after his 2nd step. I dont brag about sombody unless I know about him and let me tell you the Cardinals would be very very happy with his output if the decide to take him.
