Better to have a problem with keeping talent then having a problem of not having talent.
Also give our FO a chance to maybe get better at that proactive trading thing?
Plus I hate to say it, but fours year from now who knows what ANY NFL player will be doing, even Larry. He'll still be a good age, but it always possible he slows down, gets injured....so you never pass on a player that can help the club because of a problem that may arise years from now.
FItz was drafted two years after Boldin, Floyd would be drafted EIGHT years after Larry. Now imo is getting close to a perfect time to draft another stud WR. That doesn't mean I want a WR in the 1st, but I wouldn't sweat it. I just don't want a Bryant Johnson in the 1st round.
