Zzzzz. If you had any expectations of this being any better today than any point over the last month then you were fooling yourself. Lindley is garbage. I am more pissed that whiz keeps spewing this best chance to win crap with horribly crap qb's. This is his team. Stop blaming everyone else. This is his hand picked bull crap qb. He chose to make Skelton the starter. He benched Skelton after he finally realized what most people already knew. He then throws a hissy to justify his childish decisions and refuses to pull Lindley when it is clear he is lost. This is unacceptable and if I were a vet on this team I would be having words with this guy.

Whiz is unbelievably arrogant, he let the kid just throw up a career and possibly life destroying performance because he's not man enough to admit he made a mistake.

Skelton would of at least looked like he had some semblance of belonging in the NFL and could of played the game without destroying Lindley's ego into dust.

Lindley is at least a yr. away (half way into next yr.) from deserving to even sniff a pro field in a regular season game.

Skelton had his best game playing at Lambeau Field against Green Bay. Many drops from receivers that game. Lindley isn't throwing to anybody, he is throwing to get rid of the ball. Wizzardbunt must go.

Here's what I'd do if I was Whiz's boss.

I'd march in and demand to know why he thought that kid was ready and if he said he thought he was I'd fire him for being an idiot and not knowing ready from butt cheese and if he said he wasn't ready he was making a point I'd fire him for being an egotistical idiot and playing with peoples lives and losing to prove a point.

He's going to learn to throw the ball within 5 yards of a receiver in a year when he hasn't learned in playing QB for the last 8 years? He couldn't throw accurately in college he's never going to throw accurately in the pros. Just like DeWreck and Skelton. What is it with CKW and these scatter armed QBs?

Absolutely want to win the game. Just dont believe Skelton is much better...
Not much better, but better enough to possibly steal a win.

Skelton may display streaks of suck, but (with the exception of the opening drive vs. StL), Lindley has been close to 100% useless all the time.

With Skelton, today, we at least had a shot at manufacturing a TD or another FG. With Lindley (10 for (31), we were flat out doomed.

I agree.

As bad as Skelton has been he has never been as horrendously inaccurate as Lindley was today. Lindley today was to QB as DJ Young was to LT.

I could care less Skeltons awful.

Win? Lose? It doesnt matter till we get a REAL QB in Cardinals red.

Baloney. Breaking a 7-game losing streak ABSOLUTELY matters, and our stubborn, idiotic coach did not try to win it. It is a proven fact--go ahead, and try to argue with this--that Skelton has led this team to come-from-behind victories. Care to argue that? It is also a fact--and I dare you to argue with this--that Lindley was beyond terrible today. What kind of an idiot does KW have to be to look at a QB that a 5th round rookie from a crap college sucking it up, and not yank him for a QB that has factually proven he can lead a team from behind to victory.

KW threw away a chance to break the streak, and it may be the final nail in his coffin.

Absolutely want to win the game. Just dont believe Skelton is much better. Especially the Skelton we have seen as of late. He sucks plain and simple. We can argue levels of SUCK all day long.

If you don't think KW shouldn't have brought Skelton in, you clearly didn't care about us winning the game. Your line of reasoning is incomprehensible.

I hope it is...

If we let Horton leave and keep CKW :bang:

I know Horton may not pan out as a HC, but if I'm the FO.. is it really that big of gamble?

Shane, come on. Skelton IS better. You can't possibly believe that man. Yes JS is atrocious, but in a "lower tier bottom of the NFL qb barrell" type of way. Lindley at this point doesn't belong in this league. And yes I'm saying that after 3 games. I literally want to go look up his highlights on Youtube just so I can see some level of competence!

The OL wasn't that bad today and hasn't been for a few weeks now, not dominating by any means but they are at least pass blocking a little better. Lindley had time and a nice clean pocket for several throws today and was hitting ball boys on the sideline.

Are you kidding me? They still are not opening holes and they are giving up sacks when the last bit of pressure is put on.

We must be watching different lines.

This really isn't relevant.

Even when he had time, he couldn't get it within 10 yards.

Bingo!! You win the prize. They BOTH are marginal career 2nd string QB's. Who cares if we lose a meaningless game.

Whatever.

That game was so bad, that yes, you do SOMETHING to not look that horrible, that inept and that bad.

They have given up 9 sacks total in the last 4 games..they gave up that many in one game earlier this year. That to me is an improvement on the OL play, this is with the majority of that time being with a rookie QB who is lost back there.

The run blocking stinks but the pass protection is better and has improved especially since Batiste was pulled from the lineup.

Sacks doesn't call out all the pocket collapses and forced roll outs. I bet we still are up there in hurries, QB hits etc.....although I have not looked.

At any rate, it does matter because if we can't run the ball and even if we had a competent QB, we can't protect him.

Our offensive line is weird. They make contact but don't seem to be trying to move anyone and stay in a compact set up so there is no room to run.

I wills say that from watching the replay today Massie is really quick to set up in pass protection. He gets back so fast it looks like a false start but isn't. Best I've seen from one of our RTs in years.
