Of everyone listed as a FA, Asomugha. 2 Shutdown corners and we would get so many coverage sacks it would cover up for our mediocre pass rush. Of the players who have a real chance to hit FA, Suggs.

If you could have any 1 free agent who would it be?

After looking over the list, Ilike several of them like Suggs, Haynesworth etc but if you could only get 1 at a decent price who would it be?

My pick? Julius Pepper. Has the size and strength that is perfect for a 3-4 DE. 6'7 290 pounds can be a force in the pass and the rush

Imagine Dockett, Watson, Peppers

With a top pick at a LB with speed and Laboy changing up on the pass rush from the LB spot. Keeping Dansby if a reasonable contract. With DRC/Hood shutting things down in the secondary. Thats one scary defense.

Most def, without hesitation, Haynesworth! Peppers is also a good choice, but we drafted a Peppers type player in Campbell. I think a future line of Dockett, Haynesworth, Campbell/Smith is a terriffic D-Line.

Suggs would have to be selection to help provide us with a pass rush. Bertrand is in his last year I think and I just don't think LaBoy can be relied upon to deliver over the course of an entire season.

we need another edge pass rusher, so I say Suggs. How about a mega trade to Dallas for Demarcus Ware? Boldin and a #2 or #3 for the best passer in the league.

if they do indeed cut TO, they are gonna be desperate for WR help.

One of the Giant RB's or Sproles..

still dont think we need a RB. Look at the 2 games where we committed to run with hightower. he had 76 yards or something against the Panthers on those 12 plays in a row we gave him, AND of course the rams game where we committed to him. Given another offseason to learn, Hightower is going to be special next year. Add a good olineman such as Birk and we will have a great running game.

Derek Ward-RB-Giants

Just coming into his own. Strong work ethic. Been thru alot so appreciates the position he's in. Playing with something to prove.

Want no part of Ward (Giants RB) who will be 29 next season. He is the one free agent name i hear being thrown out there that I absolutely do not want.

I a firm believer in the philosophy that you can never have enough pass rushers, Suggs is the top guy. He is still very young and wants to come here. He will be cheaper than Peppers and has been more productive. Haynesworth would cost even more but with Watson and Dockett if we run a a 4-3 we are okay. RB & TE can be had in the draft, OT would be my secondary wish, Gandy is a FA I think but even if he is not we could slide him inside and bring in a guy like Jordan Gross especially when CAR franchises Peppers.
