If you had it all to do over and felt no allegiance to the Cards whatsoever

If not a Cards fan, and lived in a NON-NFL state with no allegiance, who would you be a fan of?

and were going to pick a team to follow and root for, who would it be? Imagine too that you lived in a state with no NFL team or affiliation to any team.

I could find myself rooting for a different team each year. One who hadn't won much, but had a chance that year. So this year I could see myself rooting for the Raiders or Texans maybe.

Definitely Cleveland in AFC, Detroit in NFC.

I could never root for the Raiders. I don't hate the Lions or the Browns but my allegiance is to a sticker on a plastic helmet... the one I fell in love with when I was seven years old - 52 years ago.

I guess my imagination just isn't that good anymore. ;)

I still kind of have a soft spot for the Chiefs tho...

Difficult question to answer because it depends where the team is at in its timeline when Im making my choice.

2015 Cardinals? Id pick Cardinals. 2011 Cardinals? Id be looking elsewhere. Same with all other teams.

Current 49ers? Heck no. Kaepernick/Harbaugh 49ers, Yes. Current Raiders, Yes. etc.

Best answer it would be between:

Seahawks, Steelers, Cardinals, Raiders

Seahawks
Bucs (although I liked the old bright orange uniforms)

I would be rooting for the Browns to turn it around and for the Cards to win the Superbowl before Fitz retires

After the Wicked Witch of St Louis moved the Rams and alienated several million Rams fans....I tried to become a Chargers fan. After being a miserable failure at that I switched to the Colts. Flunked that too. Thankfully I excel at being a Cards fan.

No one. I'd take the opportunity to bail out on the NFL.

+1.

I had no affiliation with any team, and don't live in AZ and chose the Cardinals so the question is kinda moot for me.

At this point it is the Cardinals or just stop watching.

I have added a poll at this point, so you may go back and enter your choices there. Will be interested to see which teams would get the most support if not a cards' fan.

I wasn't a Cards fan until they moved here. I was a Detroit fan, so I think I'd still be one. So I chose the Lions.

I live in Los Angeles and we never had a team for over 2 decades.

I hated the raiders, definately not a niners fan, not a chargers fan, no cowboys, no to patriots.

Either cards or or do something else on sundays.

Probably the Eagles. I live in Eagle country so it would make sense, however, the first team I rooted for were the Vikings only because I had a Vikings wind breaker when I was but a youngin.

Growing up, we always rooted for the Steelers, because my father's side of the family was from Western Pennsylvania. When the Cardinals moved to Arizona, I was the only one who switched. I still get grief from my sisters and thus SB43 was tough to stomach for multiple reasons. The picture of my sister in her Roethlisberger jersey is still facing the wall.

That said, if I was never a Cards fan and lived in a different state, I'd probably still maintain the family's allegiance to Pittsburgh.

I'm like some of the others. If I don't have a rooting interest, I always pull for the underdog.
Lions.

It's part of what makes March Madness so fun, for example.

Leroy Kelly and the Browns until Cards came to Arizona!

Enjoy why I love running backs, HOF rushing and punt return
champion

might see a lil David Johnson in Leroy's style!

I was a Chiefs fan when we moved out here in the late 70s. I also liked the Houston Oilers. Nowadays, I probably watch more college ball than the NFL. So, ASU and Texas A&M.

I know the answer for me because I've already done it. I grew up in the Valley and was sort of a Cowboys fan but I had no real loyalty to any team. I moved to So Cal in 84 and started following the Rams. When they moved away in 94 (?) I was team-less for awhile until the Cards drafted Jake and as a Sun Devil I hopped on the Phoenix Cardinals wagon.

I would probably not have a home team and would probably follow teams that played against teams I did not like such as the Steelers and Cowboys and would root for whomever they happen to be playing this week. If I did have to select a team it would probably be the Bengals. In some ways they are similar to the Cardinals.

Being a native Arizonan, and before the Cards came here in '88, I kinda followed the Cowboys. Not a huge fan but usually watched them when on TV. DIdnt have any merch.
But I was an instant Cards fan when they moved here and went to many games at SDS. Even fought a drunk cowboy fan in the stands. Ahhh, good times.
