since the vibe that I got, is that this draft could have 3 QB & 3 OT taken in the top 10 a trade will be in place before we are on the clock.

Stay put: Simmons / Brown / Wills

- One should be there at #8.

Absolutely. Did we not watch our D last year give up a touchdown about 95% of the time after an offensive score??? We could never maintain momentum because of that. Still not sold on OL at 8, but I'd understand it should we go that route. I also wouldn't be upset if we took Lamb at 8.

If I had to bet I think they go defense and I don’t believe it’s limited to Okudah, Brown and Simmons. I believe Chaisson, Kinlaw and Henderson are all in play at #8.

I think the Cardinals will trade back with their first pick. Staying put may be too much for Keim to handle if there are a lot of players he likes available after the 8th pick.

If the Cardinals do not trade down with their first pick, watch out for a trade down in the 3rd round.

my 100% guaranteed airtight prediction:

Isiah Simmons, S/LB, Clemson

Cards gets fortunate by a few teams above them overthinking things and concluding that a superior athlete with great instincts that can play multiple positions is somehow a bad thing

Hoping this also, I know tons want Lamb, but I don’t see him having a better career then even Aiyuk. In any other draft year he would be a 15-30 guy.

Most overrated receiver of the last five years, think Sammy Watkins type disappointment.

There have been many receivers who have disappointed more than Sammy Watkins in the last 5 years.

A few examples

Corey Davis 5th pick 2017
Corey Coleman 15th pick 2016
Laquean Treadwell 23rd pick 2016
Kevin White 7th pick 2015
