If you were Oakland would you not be looking at Taylor?

Rod Woodson is 39 yrs. old and is coming off of knee surgery.......to me this is as much a reason to target Sean Taylor as anyone else.

You know, the more I think about it, Davis would be crazy to go after Fitzgerald with the #2 overall......it would be a luxury pick IMHO. Yes, I know that Rice and Brown are ancient mariners as well, but the WR position is deep and affords options in round two, irrespective of the fact that they don't draft in the 2nd round until #45.

I personally think that Oakland have too many holes to avoid finishing last next year anyway. Might as well take a player that REALLY fills a need.

Word around the campfire has it that the Raiders are still smarting from drafting Derrick Gibson (SS) in the first round a few years back. I still think Al Davis will take Roethlisberger.

How does this line of thought not apply to AZ?

Well, IMHO, we certainly can keep Wilson as our SS......he is "more than serviceable" and,

secondly, we do need a third WR who can stretch the field in a Green type offensive scheme.

Our primary "needs" situations are much different than Oakland's.

Or they could take Fitz first, Jamaal Brimmer in round 2 and fill the same needs. It comes down to who they think is the better player, and no I wouldn't be shocked if they took Taylor.

But just like with us, you have to remember who they hired as coach, Turner was probably somewhat desperate but rumor is he was told they'd take an offensive guy #1 this year and that helped him decide on taking the job.

Davis is his own guy nobody but him has any idea what he's thinking.
