Ridiculous. You must have slept through the Terry Porter/Lindsay Hunter/Earl Watson seasons.Worst coach in Suns history
And that’s just the last 10 years.

Personally, I'd love it, I think Jerry is one of the greatest owners and front office men in league history. And I think the Suns are rapidly closing in on the level of putrocity (is that a word? It should be) where the league tells Sarver he needs to figure out his **** or they will figure it out for him.
However...
It would probably be anyone BUT JC that Sarver would agree to bring in, because bringing in JC to fix his mess would be far more humiliating than simply selling the franchise and fading away.
Also...
Good lord, you know things have gone to pot when BC867, a long time JC detractor, is pining for his return.
Yikes.

How the balls did we beat the NBA leading Bucks on the road?
Satan was looking for his snow shoes on that evening.
Yeah, that one's a puzzler. And while slightly less surprising, we also have wins against the Spurs, Nuggets and at Boston.
That Nuggets game was amazing. Suns dominated defensively for the entire game.
Yeah, it was arguably our best performance of the year although to be fair we've had some good performances where we came up short too. But lately we've been very unfocused it seems.
Yes. I wonder why the writer thinks it is not fair to evaluate Igor as a Head Coach.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Looks like many may see their wish come true.

Regardless of the lack of a Point Guard and Power Forward (which made the need for an inventive Head Coach even more prevalent),
Igor's passive persona is not that of a leader. He is what he has been -- a career Assistant Coach. Not a figure head.
This. It wasn't fair to the players or the fans to hire someone in the first place who clearly didn't have the skill set for the position.

Not sure how many more times I'm going to have repeat this, but here goes another time.It really puzzles me as to why anyone supports this head coach. The Suns head coach always does not have enough talent. Christ we won only 19 freaking games and were blown out too many times to count. Is this roster really that bad?
Koko is an assistant coach period. I see no leadership qualities on the court or at the microphone. Let's keep it real that is what all the good coaches are good at or so it seems.
Hornacek, Watson, Triano, Kokoskov, ???. Really? We want to make Devin Booker, as young as he is, play under the fifth head coach?
What this franchise needs is stability.

I agree. They need continuity. I want as few changes as possible this offseason. I want an addition of a PG, and a bigger stretch four. Those are the only changes I want to see. I want Jones to stay, I want Igor to stay, I want most of the players to stay. Continuity is critical.
What it needs more is competence. Stable incompetence is a guarantee of failure.
