Over the last year or two my 9 year old son has become a NFL fanatic. He loves playing Madden and can pretty much name every player from every team. He has also become a huge Cardinals fan and loves going to games now. In fact his top gift on his wish list was a John Brown jersey.
When the Cardinals secured a home playoff game my wife wasn't sure if we should bring him to the game because the tickets were so expensive. I said hell no, he is coming to his first ever NFL playoff game!
I wouldn't trade being able to experience this game with my son for anything. For the rest of his life he will remember being at this game that will be talked about forever.
After the game was over we reenacted the Larry Fitzgerald shovel pass about 50 times while we waited for the parking lot to empty out. I will cherish this Cardinals experience for the rest of my life as I'm sure my son will also!
Go Cards!

Dude...I am so jealous right now. Never been able to take either of my sons to a playoff game. Never been able to take my youngest to any games...someday though.
... my ol'lady Jen,...has never been a football fan, but she is trying. She started watching the Cards with me about five years ago because she likes Larry's thighs et all.......okay fine.
fellas...she was sooo into that game. I laughed when she jumped up yelling "God dammit Floyd"....she knows almost every player on the team by number....and is even doing fairly good breakdowns on who we are gonna play...it is so cool to have an ol'lady who will watch a game with me,..and hoot and holler at the TV just like I do...
I have been a Cards fan a long time...we learned years ago not to get too upset when we lose....but I do get real emotional when we win...especially a game like this one was....she always allows me a half hour or so after the game to digest it all...sit on the porch and just enjoy it. I really like that about the old broad, she's a good one.
my oldest is joining the military in a few weeks...planning to go to avionics school in florida so he will be pretty close....there will still be opportunities to get to that playoff game. It will happen.
