Wilson is terrible in coverage and getting worse. I never thought I'd say thins, but I finally agree that this offseason he should work on putting on a few lbs and play OLB.

In other news: I'm disgusted with this team. Disgusted.

I especially loved the play where he was waving his arms in frustration...didn't even see that the pass was coming his way...the Seahawk player hauls it in...then ADub looks back for the ball and tries to intercept or knock it down...before realizing it had already been caught. Unreal.

Finally? What took you so long? I said we should have signed Rolle & made him the SS the day we signed AW. :bang::bang::bang: Stupid cardinals

WILSON’S ROUGH GO

Safety Adrian Wilson ended up downfield in coverage on a couple of long completions again, but Whisenhunt said it was a “combination of things” that set up such situations and not necessarily just Wilson’s fault.

“There were a couple of times where we made the check and it wasn’t played correctly and a lot of times that puts your safeties on an island when it’s not their fault,” Whisenhunt said. “That’s part of the reason we gave up so many yards and so many points today.”

Wilson declined to speak to the media, saying through a spokesman he would do so Monday.

LOL It's just embarrassing how lost AW looks out there, you could literally make a compilation of his lowlights to Benny Hill.

The thing I find funny about that is Toler was benched late in the 1st half for poor play & yet Wiz doesn't sit #24 on the pine. Much like Brob still starting. Wiz needs to make ALL players accountable for their play on the field!!! AW isn't cutting it & doesn't deserve to start for this team. I even saw Rhodes look at Wilson a few times today & act like "Dude WTF are you doing"?

OMFG I wanted to kick his ass for this one. He was in position to knock it down or pick the ball but rather complain before the play was even finished.

I think he's regressed a bit and it's disappointing given he is one of my most favorite players

If I were asked which ONE player is killing the most, week in and week out, I would have to painfully reply - Adrian Wilson. Don't get me wrong, it's a tough call as there are so f'n many worthy slugs... But, #24 is most often the least effective player on the field, and has contributed to more HUGE plays being completed against us than any other single player. He hasn't just been bad this year, he's actually SUCKED (with the one exception being the first game of the season vs the Rams).

I can't believe we just extended him, and this is what we get in return... Amazing!

I tried to tell you guys....

Should have kept Dansby and let Old Man Wilson fade off into the sunset.

That was the play that I, in my Adub jersey, turned to my friend behind me, in his Adub jersey, and called him a bobblehead the way he ran without any clue where the ball was but bobbling around looking for it.

Dansby for coverage on pass plays?

No, Dansby was the leader of the defense not Wilson. So they let the wrong guy go. Although Dansby was no slouch for a big LB in coverage.

Rolle or Rashad Johnson could have taken the SS position and we wouldn't have to look at Lenon pretending to be a WILB.

Just on that, who is DRC is referring to here? Is this a dig at the coaching staff?

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/car...zona-cardinals-fans-booing-seahawks-game.html

Greg Toler, the other starting cornerback, was burned all day and was benched for a time. Rodgers-Cromartie was asked what he said to console Toler.
"I told him straight up, 'Man, you know what, us, we got to play how we played to get us here,' " he said. "I know this is a technique game, but there are certain things that we have that other corners can possess and you got to use them and play them to your ability. Playing their game is killing us."

Who cares if its a shot at the coaching staff. DRC blows. Another long list of overrated Cardinal players.

Adub is a good player but it looks like he lost a step, just not as fast as he used to be. maybe there is something wrong that we don't know about. i guess I'm looking for an excuse for him. when is was on the field he gave 100% and that was never questioned. something happened.

Can't even muster the strength to stick up for my boys. All time lows for this squad.

Everyone but the coaching staff knows that AW has always been a close to the LOS player. He has never been great at pass defense. His strengths have always been at attacking not defending. At this point in his career he needs to be made an outside linebacker or flat out released or at the very least kept up close to defend the run and blitz the QB. Thats how bad our coaches are on defense.

I still laugh when I think to back to see him covering Percy Harvin one on one last week. May as well have put Dan Williams on Harvin.

He's not even doing that now though. Several times this year on blitzes you can see him just put his head down and grab the blocker like I'm not going to get there so I'm just going to make it look like I got blocked.

He can't cover, asking him to cover when he can't is poor coaching but at some point you have to understand that a defense that has AW, Lenon and Hayes on the field at the same time is going to get crucified in the passing game over the middle because that's 3 guys that can't cover.

I know Washington makes rookie mistakes and needs to get bigger but he also is MUCH better in coverage because he can run. Did you see him catch Leon Washington on that PR yesterday?

If we're going to continue to lose ugly games at least give the young guys more experience, play Washington and Williams, play Johnson more, hell I'd like to see Stephen Williams get some more run at WR now too.
