I still laugh when I think to back to see him covering Percy Harvin one on one last week. May as well have put Dan Williams on Harvin.

That was bad. But thats only one of many stupid coverages we do. What moron on the coaching staff thinks that linebackers and defensive linemen are supposed to cover wide receivers. I can picture it now. (coach thinking to himself hey, I'll get the big fat guy that runs a 5.35 forty to go and cover that skinny receiver that runs a 4.35 forty that way when he tackles him the ball will be fumbled and we can recover it) meanwhile it doesn't dawn on the guy that the fat guy will never catch him.

Wait, I have something even better. Offensive coach thinks to himself ( its third down and 12. I better call a pass play for five yards. Wow I am so smart!) When kids on the sand lot know they need ten yards for a first down they throw at least a ten yard pass. Wow, now that is brain surgery, rocket scientist type of stuff right there to figure out. Some day our coaching staff will make it all the way to the sand lot.

He's not even doing that now though. Several times this year on blitzes you can see him just put his head down and grab the blocker like I'm not going to get there so I'm just going to make it look like I got blocked.

He can't cover, asking him to cover when he can't is poor coaching but at some point you have to understand that a defense that has AW, Lenon and Hayes on the field at the same time is going to get crucified in the passing game over the middle because that's 3 guys that can't cover.

I know Washington makes rookie mistakes and needs to get bigger but he also is MUCH better in coverage because he can run. Did you see him catch Leon Washington on that PR yesterday?

If we're going to continue to lose ugly games at least give the young guys more experience, play Washington and Williams, play Johnson more, hell I'd like to see Stephen Williams get some more run at WR now too.

I agree with you that we need to play our young guys now. Daryl Washington should be starting the rest of the year. One thing you can't teach is speed and Washington has it.

Who cares if its a shot at the coaching staff. DRC blows. Another long list of overrated Cardinal players.

I disagree. As always, I think we have a good secondary (outside of Wilson) that is usually put into a position to fail by the idiot, known as Billy Davis.

You know what's really odd to me? Wilson had a career game against the Rams earlier this year, and IMO he looked like he was primed for a break-out year. Sad to see what's happened to him lately. He's really having a down year.

Finally? What took you so long? I said we should have signed Rolle & made him the SS the day we signed AW. :bang::bang::bang: Stupid cardinals

So I just watched the Giants/Cowboys game and I'm going to have to say BIG FAT NO to this. #26 was being burned all day and looking as lost as Adub.

Sadly, the leaque has vetoed players like AW. Remember, he was at his best when he was a big hitter. With the league's propensity for punishing these players, it takes them out of their game. Our staff simply can't seem to realize that he only can play well when played up in the box to either hit the runner or the QB in the backfield. He is NOT a pass defender in any way, shape, or form.

Then he no longer belongs in this league, just like every other "only a heavy hitter"
