I was listening to the Pink Floyd Animals 2018 Remix Blu-Ray over the weekend. It includes these three audio stream choices:

• 2018 Remix - Stereo: 24-bit/192kHz Uncompressed, dts-HD MA
• 2018 Remix - 5.1 Surround: 24-bit/96kHz Uncompressed, dts-HD MA
• 1977 Original Stereo: 24-bit/192kHz Uncompressed, dts-HD MA

I went with the first option based on the disc's recommendation and switched back and forth between the stereo and surround mode my receiver creates. I was not disappointed in the surround field, but the stereo was incredible in my main listening position. Just an amazing master that was well worth the double dip.
