I would put the Stones above AC/DC but it's just a matter of preference.Just proves that AC/DC is the greatest rock band ever -- they had 2 different lead singers and both are absolutely phenomenal. Van Halen only wishes they could claim that.

Curious why? They've obviously been around a lot longer, and I would even put Led Zeppelin ahead of the Stones, although they are all very high up in the rock n roll pantheon.I would put the Stones above AC/DC but it's just a matter of preference.
Personal preference. I love the Stones. Their best stuff isn't played on the radio.Curious why? They've obviously been around a lot longer, and I would even put Led Zeppelin ahead of the Stones, although they are all very high up in the rock n roll pantheon.
Gimme Shelter is a top 10 song for me, so I do like the Stones. But if I was on a desert island and I could only pick one artist to be there with me, it's AC/DC.Personal preference. I love the Stones. Their best stuff isn't played on the radio.
AC/DC & Zeppelin would be a very close second for me. If I had to choose 1 album it would probably be Sticky Fingers. Btw, I loved AC/DC in my teens. My wife introduced me to the better Stones songs that I had never heard before. I'm also more of a fan of the Bon Scott era. Back In Black was pretty good but everything sucked after that imo.Gimme Shelter is a top 10 song for me, so I do like the Stones. Man, Bon's voice was just so iconic for AC/DC even if he wasnt with them long...I dont know if they ever really hit big without himxc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
3...a dude named Dave Evans was their lead singer prior to BonJust proves that AC/DC is the greatest rock band ever -- they had 2 different lead singers and both are absolutely phenomenal. Van Halen only wishes they could claim that.
AC/DC owns the single rock song that transcends all boundaries, age, race, gender, nationality..no matter what party you go to anywhere in the world...you turn it up when "You shook me All Night Long" comes on,...the crowd all smiles and sings along.I would put the Stones above AC/DC but it's just a matter of preference.
Sympathy for the Devil is an under rated masterpiecePersonal preference. I love the Stones. Their best stuff isn't played on the radio.
