I'm Michael Bidwill for a mock draft

Another Forum has invited me to rep the Cardinals in the draft. Last time I did a bunch of polls in here and it got all sloppy trying to keep them together. I think I ended up trading back or something, I'll look it up.

But if I'm Mikey, I need to surrounnd myself with some folks to make these decisions. So as my list of guys (keep in mind these jobs are both thankless and payless) I am not going to have a GM, vice, HC, scouts. I am going to call on 4 names, I'm putting 10 names in a hat (all worthy, off the top of my head), and they will help me figure out my draft this year. I wanted to put Pariah's name in the hat but I aint seen that cat in a cold minute.

The names called will have all the input with me as a team hire. If someone's idea or logic is better than mine I'm sure the group as a whole will see it and let me know...I can be over ruled. They are still signing up GM's so I'll have the start date soon. Gonna pick the names right now.

Third draw is K9

Fourth piece of paper has Shane written on it (no joke)!!! The one guys who argues with me on darn near everything!! I was hoping to get a female in the mix but the Cards have spoken.

If one of you guys is too busy let me know and I'll draw another name.

Yeah I could use the help, last time I traded back from the fifth spot (Peterson was off the board already in that mock). I ended up with the 16 and 17th pick somehow. Juston Houston and Tyron Smith.

No, but my wife recommended 2 things. She said never mention the names that weren't drawn, and hire the first person that posts on your thread. Shane is already in, so your on the squad if you'll have us.

Yamon, I aint up on my college game. I'm just going to research the top ten or so available (in my opinion) by reading around. We will have to decide on BPA or needs and all that. We will have like 24 hours after the sixth pick comes in, and my PM isn't full over there so I can propose draft trades on the down low. Plan on doing it on this thread, my box is full (that's what she said).

Word is the mock will begin the Thursday or Friday following the combine. So it will be around the 28th or 29th..?

Once the sixth pick comes in, we will have like a day or 12 hours or so to pick, plenty of time. I'd like to do this publicly on this thread, we all come up with our top ten list. I plan on doing a BPA list and a Cardinals needs list. The first round is crucial, but since it's a mock, it goes faster and faster after that so that's where I really lack is deep draft talent. The way this draft is setting up, I'd like to get as many spots up infront of the line as I can. But I am open to anything, if any of the greatful 6 has a better process...I'm down.

Be careful using K9. In one post he'll tell you that a player is a great pick at your spot and in the next he'll tell you why the guy is a terrible pick at your spot.

And also be careful with Shane's recommendations. Like me, he's a jinx. (Football Cardinals and Cubs fan. Man that's got to be tough.)

Like I said I aint got much, I'm worried about the #7 pick more than anything. So anything anybody brings to the table is beuno, we got almost a month.

I guess our approach should be decided first. BPA, or Cardinal needs in the first round?

Best player at a position of need. Generate a list of top players at our need positions QB, OT, DE, DT, OLB, & OG. Identify which players are worthy of a top 15 pick at each of those positions and then take use that list to rank those players against each other to identify BPA.

Just my thoughts.

Just take OL and don't reach for a QB. The end.
