Yeah, yesterday was a bad loss, but look at the game. Palmer shined. The offense was clicking in the first and second drive and at that time, the o-line was doing ok. The Cards were dominating Dallas on everything.

For me, the Cards players are a mental bunch. When things go well on offense, the defense shines to. When the ST mishaps started, thats when everything went down the drain. That missed field goal was a back breaker. Was it on Dawson, yep, but also that blocking on the field goal was bad and clasped quickly and probably got into Dawson's head.

If they can some how fix the oline issues(or have them figure out away to continue to play like they did on the first few drives) and ST gets their head out of you know what, this team can win games. BUT, we all know ST will never get fix themselves, so I hope someway the oline can get better soon.

The good thing is that they are playing SF next week. What a perfect game to bounce back from.

The team has shown only glimpses. At some point they have to look at themselves and decide whether or not they have the testicular fortitude. As bad as the Browns are, those guys are out there fighting every game. I was listening on sirius on my way to work and on one of the sacks, Wolf made a comment that as Palmer is going down, 3 offensive linemen were standing there watching it happen.

Yep, remember him or Dave saying that.

This team will be good if the O-line is fixed. Its really that simple. Unlike Seattle, we have the personnel to fix it if people stay healthy.

Me either but I am not overly optimistic. If we lose to SF at home...well...

This team is lacking clearly on the OL but if it is mental... then we can could lose to the Niners or any team which also has professional athletes who are playing smart

I admire your ability to believe in fairy tales. This team is done.

I thought so to, but what I saw out of Palmer, even with his limited time in the pocket, he still has it. Like I said, if the offense plays well, the defense will follow suit. Just need to get the damn oline fixed to give Palmer more time and the running game a chance.

ST is whole other issue, but if it stills stinks but yet the offense starts to click more, then the ST issues won't be as bad.

He has it in flashes...then he doesn't.

He'll make good on a long bomb and then miss a wide open Fitz in the end zone by not even getting the ball near him...

I think if this team had stayed healthy and caught a couple breaks they would've finished 9-7. That ship has sailed but definitely not 4-12 bad.

Not good enough and yet not bad enough. We are slow and old. Should have done it last year but we'll have to live thru a totally vanilla season and start the rebuild next season.

We cant run the ball...Chris Johnson needs to go back home. Too slow...he literally was running into the line cringing and waiting to get hit....Dallas knew we couldn't run and played all def backs and 3 rushed...
We should have run wr Sweeps...our run new England offense....but saying that. We need to get a RT and 2nd cb. David Johnson would have destroyed that 3 man rush.

I think it's closer to 5-11 or 6-10.

7-9 would just be a disasterous season.
I dunno. Our two losses were by more than a score, and our one win was in overtime by a field goal. That feels pretty 7-9ish to me. Win a handful of close games lucky, lose another handful unlucky, and get blown out by the 4-6 quality teams on the schedule.

People burying Seattle right now are gonna look pretty foolish come winter.

Here is my glass half full outlook...IF Humphries and Iupati can come back, stay healthy, and play well...we can compete with the Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers. If not, we have zero chance.

This is my only hope, the division is weak and we could be healthy WITH DJ at the end of the year.

You can't "giveup" Just yet there is a good chance this team will be in a 3 way tie for 1st place after next Sunday.... For that reason alone you can't give up on the season however the prospects do look very Bleak....

Unlike a lot of posters on here last night Im not close to throwing dirt on this 1-2 team. Injuries have depleted this team. I dont expect them to play this badly going forward with a healthy lineup. IF they lose their eighth game of the season then Ill start to worry but it might be enough to get into the post season being 8-8 or maybe even 7-9? Especially since our division is down this year. I cant understand all the negativity towards our own team. Some people would rather lay down than fight. Thats not my mentality or upbringing.
