It's Mitch's annual, "I'm taking my football home and not playing anymore".

The "Mitchettes" will line up to beg for his return, and he'll be back with his usual, "I'll give it one more try".

(After a decade or more, we should know it's coming, as sure as the footbal season.)

Do you really think it's supporting Mitch to start a thread that almost guarantees a few people will stop in and take shots at Mitch? Do you think it's supportive of anyone or anything to start a thread and then suggest that a person is a coward simply because they didn't like your thread?

I think this thread was a horrible idea and if I gave out stars, I would have attached a negative value to this one. Mitch is an adult, let him make his own choices. I think it's obvious that the vast majority of posters here like to read what Walter has to say but these absurd "where's Mitch" threads that seem to pop up every time the guy takes a break for a few days appear to encourage dissension more than anything else. JMO.
