Lol… do you have this post copied and pasted from the many times you said the same thing last year?

I wonder if the Suns can get up for the Warriors on Saturday.

Schroder is allowed to dribble all over the court like a Harlem Globetrotter.

Embarrassing for the Suns.

We have several legitimate excuses, all fairly minor but legitimate nonetheless. But no way can those excuses explain away losing at home to the short handed Nets. Embarrassing.

Eddie said something to the effect the Nets couldn't play at this same pace all season.

Well, what is the Suns excuse with a full roster?

I would have been happy if they could have beat the Timberwolves with only Booker, less Beal and Durant.

It's not the best news on Bradley Beal.

He "tweaked" his left ankle in 4th quarter. Also, his left calf was tightening up per Duane Rankin tweet.

I see even the sports writers are in a great mood.

Is this what happened in game 7 of the 2021-22 playoffs against the Mavericks?

Our arena is just too comfortable for some players on the opposition. Seems like there’s a guy who always goes off that shouldn’t

There is always going to be some relatively unknown player that goes off. Suns have to be tougher.

Kevin Durant talks about the Nets. It's not like they were unknown.

They won their last two games at the Kings and Warriors.

Good these refs are ********! They aggressively hands all over us not getting calls the same on both ends total joke!

Quit blaming the officials. Every game the Suns lose or is close you are here whining about the officiating. There is no conspiracy against the Suns. Neither the league or the refs work against the Suns. It was comical but you've beaten that narrative into the ground.

I need to dig a little but I'd wager the Suns lose almost every time KD leads the team in turnovers. He never just leads in TO's either, he's usually twice the amount of #2. Tonight he had 7 and #2 was Booker with 3.

I'd need to check games individually it seems to get a list indicating whether KD led the team in TO's or not. Decided to go by 5 or more. In 23 games over the last season and start of this one the Suns are 10-13 in those outings. Not as drastic as I thought but still bad, especially in comparison to our overall record.

They're better than last year, but deep down they have the same fatal flaws.

They're not nearly as good as they think they are. As a result they don't play hungry, they don't take "lesser" opponents seriously.

They're extremely injury prone. I cannot fathom this team making it through the 8 week playoff grind with all these glass cannons staying upright, we can hardly make it through 4 games.

Did anyone assume that when Durant and Beal came back, the Suns would immediately play great again? I hope not, because I saw that attitude elsewhere, and feel exasperated at it. The team is still questionably constructed and does not look particularly impressive or promising. This loss is actually more embarrassing than the injury-caused losing streak, because that had a built-in excuse. This doesn't.

If no one here really thought that, I would not feel that surprised. I find several individuals here more discerning and more willing to consider alternative ideas than people on my last forum. For instance: I had never been exposed to the idea that Shawn Marion was overrated, and have felt quite willing to consider it. The way Shawn Marion left Phoenix left me feeling disgusted at him, so that I'm no fan of his anyway and would have no problem revising my opinion of him as a player.

Honestly with an adequate PG last year we might’ve been better with Vogel. The Suns are 21st in d-rating whereas last year they were 13th (9th in NET, 18th so far this year). Yeah KD was out 7 games but they were barely scratching out wins before the calf injury. Beal will always be hurt so I don’t use that as a factor.

If the Suns somehow won their first championship with this team, well, that would be great, but...I would sigh a little that it had to be this team. The problem would be that this team manifestly does not deserve to win a championship. That would annoy me a little.

On the other hand, if it gets anywhere near a championship, then it probably had to have earned that. It would have to have learned to fight its way there through sheer work and guts. Certainly not talent, because it doesn't have enough collective talent. Yes, you heard me: It doesn't have enough talent as a unit. To think it does, you would have to think that the three stars' talent makes up for the rest of the team's lack of talent. I can see that it doesn't.
