we're really going 9 and 7 aren't we? nothing could have convinced me we would have collapsed this hard a month ago but now it seems like nothings working offense sucks special teams suck and even todd bowles defense can't stop anybody anymore

the curse rears its ugly head once again, its the cardinal way

Thank goodness we found a way to win this game

I was in a bad place early on. Sick to my stomach

Understandable, many of you were in that bad place. I know counting us out like that is sort of a defense mechanism for a lot of people but you all still deserve a little light mocking. ;)

Nah, that's too hardcore. Lightly mocked is one thing, but even the Cards fans that are convinced the sky is falling don't deserve the heavy stuff. We've all seen the sky fall far too many times for that.

whos quitting? i think our guys are pretty resilient, and they bought into the next man up mantra wholeheartedly but we have taken an awful lot of blows in the injury department,
still they seem to find a way, i just think stanton will get so exposed in the playoffs that it will be sad

still i'm happy to be in the playoff hunt

I don't know about that completely.

Part of me totally agrees with you but for perspective what we really have is probably a legit starting caliber QB with almost no real game experience.

Essentially he's in his rookie year going through learning all the things you have to do to win games.

He has some skills but he also gets happy feet at times, he hears footsteps, he throws high over the middle a lot, he locks on to WR's a lot.

The real question is how fast can they coach him through all this and does he get ANY benefit from being in the league eight years or is he just going through a rookie like learning curve?

I think he could be a good QB actually but he's just raw in game.

I think if he plays enough he work his way out of a lot of this but he's in the teeth of the worst part of the curve.

Teams have tape on him, they know his weaknesses and the higher caliber teams with the best defenses can really make his life miserable.

It's a lot to ask that in the few remaining games he would come out of enough of this for us to contend for anything, I highly doubt that's possible but if he gets anywhere close then hands down this coaching staff deserves incredible praise.

I think essentially we are toast as of now.

We went from an elite caliber team to a team that has trouble beating a team like KC at home and needed a highly unusual if actually correct reversal to do it.

We were barely able to beat them in our own house and they aren't very good at all.

Teams like Green Bay we could contend with if we were as healthy as they are we'd have a good shot at beating them straight up, but now as banged up as we are we'd be lucky to win one playoff game and before Carson went down the bar was much higher.

I don't appreciate people calling other posters out when in fact this is a place where we vent frustrations.

I guess you have every right to do it but I just don't see what point it serves.

I was so upset in the first half I threw my thesaurus away, I was fuming, flummoxed, flambeed, distraught, distressed, boiling over, beside myself, steaming, and crushed.

Thank goodness I ended up happy, cheerful, joyful, delighted, elated, and jubilant:)

The team has yet to give up, why should us fans give up??? Injuries, no respect, etc... Love this team for continuing to make it exciting every week. In 3 weeks, this season will down in history- no matter what! ;)
