So if you look at Seattle. They have dominated the teams that the Cards have barely beat. I don't fear Seattle, just concerned. Yea, Cards beat Seattle, but that was a game before they decided to turn up the heat and now have dominated the last 4 games.

49ers - Won by 16
Steelers - Won by 9
Vikings - Won by 31
Ravens - Won by 29

I know when the Cards played the Ravens, Flaco was QB so that changes things a little, but the other games, these were the same teams(if not better with Ben playing in the Steelers game) the Cards lost to, or barely beat. It seems that Seattle has found a rhythm(or Wilson has found his rhythm) and are back to what they were the last 2 years. Aren't you guys just a little concerned?

Cards have played great, enough to win, but when its time to play against Carolina or even Seattle again, do they have it in them to win the game?? I just can't figure this team out yet. They seem to have the skills to dominate each team, but instead make it come down to the wire every time.

I guess I am still living in the past when the Cards were dominating teams in the first half of the season and now haven't blown anyone out since(besides the Rams). This team has it all, deep threats, RB threats, a great D and yet they just can't put teams away. I hope this Philly game is a cake walk for them, but seeing its a nationally televised game, it will probably again come down to the wire.

Hopefully seattle is the 6 seed so we only have to play one of CAR/SEA to get to the bowl instead of both.

However at this point I would rather play seattle.

The Seahawks just lost their best RB for the season. Jimmy Graham is gone for the season. I'm not worried about them if the Cardinals play like they should.

The one reason I am not worried is, this team finds ways to win. The D gives up bigs plays, but they also find ways to make the game changing play (just like the Minn game). I am concerned on how Seattle is playing, but hopefully the game against them means nothing for us. Unless they have a meltdown the next 2 games, they will be in the playoffs before they play the Cards in week 17. So, that game may mean nothing to them too. We clinch the 2 seed, then I can see us playing them in the NFC championship game here (by the way the seeding looks now). A lot can happen in the next few weeks, so we will see what we both look like by then. Rawls being out now will hurt

That's just it, they really haven't been playing like they should. They should be dominating. They have the players to do it.

I think the team is better without Graham and Rawls will be replaced by Torbin(if he isn't hurt) and he will be just what they need. Cards can handle any RB they play against, its just the mobile QBs they have issues with.

If the Cards can win the remainder of their games including playoffs and the SUPERBOWL by one point Id still be one happy camper. As long as there's a W next to the Cards, its all good.

I hope the Cardinals play them in round 2 and beat them for the 3rd time this year. Because that's what has the better chance of happening.

Well, Torbin isn't good.

I agree I think their better without Graham.

However, Rawls is a huge loss. Marshawn has been looking washed up this season.

Well, why didn't they turn up the heat at home for an all-important division game? A game where they gave up the most points and yards, if I remember correctly, since the opening of their new stadium. The difference between putting teams away in the first and second half of the season has been nothing more than inopportune drops.

Rawls was averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Everyone else on the roster is averaging in the mid 3s or less.

Lynch has been playing hurt all year, he had a couple of good games but yes Rawls really changed their run game when he came in so losing him is a big blow IMO.

Oh my gosh you guys with the Seattle comparisons.

The only score that matters in relation to Seattle:

Cardinals 39
Seattle 32

I have never seen this much doubt about a good team. Cardinals were able to beat Seattle AT HOME even after we gifted them a 4th quarter lead! Then they go off and beat someone else and you guys are now worried that we cant beat them in our house? You realize if we play Seattle it will be here right?

I mean I get respecting them, they are a good team, but what more do the freaking cardinals need to do for you guys? You wont win every game in the NFL by 40 points.

Mind boggling.

I'm not saying cards are a bad team. I think they are a damn good team, just Seattle has gotten better since they played them. I really can't wait to see the cards play them again but they have turned a corner. The cards are an awesome team and now how to win. I wasn't at all concerned with Seattle until the last few games.

Things in the NFL are so fluid that circumstances can change for a team in just a week or two, so the comparisons don't always hold up. At this time of year, teams that are out of it will hang in for a while, but when things start to go south the games often quickly turn into blowouts.

I'd also suggest that it is hard to sustain a dominant level of play over a long period of time. Cards were hot early. Seahawks are hot now. Panthers are hot now in that they had more close wins early. Or at least it seemed that way The question is who is going to be on a roll a month from now.

It would have been fun if one of our rivals didn't make the playoffs, but I am not going to worry if they are rolling now. Things can change too much in a few weeks time.

Losing their running game will definitely have an affect as Ds can now just focus on defending the passing game! That's a big loss for them IMO .

Please don't curse us with that happening. My heart wouldn't survive that. Really. They'd win the SB & I wouldn't be around to enjoy it

I'm really worried about Minter still starting once we're in the playoffs. Dude just isn't good. I'd be much more comfortable with Spoon getting the start. Good to see he has been getting more PT the past couple of weeks.

That makes no sense to me at all.

The Cards have been good against the run all year and, despite being the whipping boy, Minter has been a big part of it. Weatherspoon, who I loved at the time of his signing, has not been able to get on the field all year despite, by all reports, being healthy. He's obviously not a good fit for this defense and you suggest we put him in to replace our 3rd leading tackler and defensive play caller on a top 5 defense.

Spoon has been getting 25% of Minter's reps for 2 weeks, and I'm assuming passing downs, so I think we are seeing a shift for the rest of the season. Maybe Minter isn't able to hold up (speed wise) for a full season. So instead of pulling Minter on passing downs and adding Bucannon (original plan?), we are pulling Minter and adding Spoon - a big testament to Bucannon, really.

Minter's been ceding reps to Weatherspoon and Fua the last several weeks. Maybe the coaches are seeing something you don't.

I imagine that Minter's incredible deficiencies in the passing game are making it more and more difficult to hide him for whatever he brings to the table in run support.

He's been such a terrible blitzer that I think the team is looking for alternatives that are superior to just throwing your shoulder into the nearest blocker.

I gets to the gaps fast but always seems to take the wrong gap or is just looking for the block rather then making a move around that block.
