If you can’t see with your eyes how the obvious calls were called one way but not the other don’t know what to tell you. Even the announcers were talking about how the double standard was…
.
Kevin Ray doesn’t think the Suns have committed a foul throughout their entire existence of a franchise. All he does is complain.

It’s drives me nuts to watch us build a lead with pace and ball movement, only to totally abandon that strategy as the game goes on.

They will flip from running all over to being statues once they get a decent lead.

Curious, have we ever lost a game that wasn’t the officials fault?
Not to ignore your actual point but I can remember winning a game that was clearly the officials fault. We were getting royally screwed in Seattle, the other guys were getting more than their share of calls yet the Sonics kept whining. Finally the refs had enough and every call from then on went our way allowing us to come back from a big deficit and steal it late. I'd love to show that game to Devin and see if it drives home the point about the value of getting along with the refs. There are ways to complain that can help you but as a general rule, the refs get tired when a player constantly whines about calls and non-calls. And Devin is one of the worst at that.

It bothered me the Suns didn't have another gear tonight against the Timberwolves, especially with Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo out.

The Suns couldn't get to the basket over more athletic players with length. And it's only going to get worse.

Maybe the Suns front office and ownership needs to reflect if their window has closed. I know I have. The NBA is now filled with young, athletic teams. Replacing youth for old stars was not the the answer.

OKC, Houston & Memphis are examples of those younger teams doing extremely well.

This Suns team is so hard to watch, so hard to cheer for. They are so unathletic it’s painful.
They turn the ball over at the worst times - something you’d think a seasoned team would know better and prevent.
If they don’t shoot the 3 ball well, they lose… it really boils down to that single factor. They have no ability to adjust. There is zero creativity in their game. It’s just a bad, boring and immensely uninspiring team filled with a bunch of hard to cheer-for players.

I am not watching games but I follow on espn game cast and just see numbers. Its hard for me to tell what is going on during the game.

The trend I see is why are we always having a second half melt down. Something has to be done cause clearly at our best we can’t even beat teams with key players out.

Nurk and the big three need to go and we start to rebuild.

we completely fell apart - zero heart - i still don't know why richards mysteriously rode the pine for that stretch but bud must've seen something? he was in at the end during our mini faux comeback attempt

but what's got me shook is book - that second half and him rolling over both in the game and when another man put their hands on his face

when you touch someone on the face like that - you're saying you're doing everything you can to resist assaulting that person - nobody's ever touching my face like that - book needs to do something about this as it's reoccurring

you can't get bullied on the court

This game is a poster child why I think the teams needs a dog. The teams persona changed when the issues with Crowder showed up and Chris Paul fell off a cliff. Like em or hate em, you need dogs on a team. You need some nasty. The team is not devoid of talent. They are devoid of "dog". They are devoid of that guy on the team that will get in your face and doesn't care what you think about it.

I think Butler could be that guy but it comes at too high of a cost which sucks. Because a younger Jimmy Butler, Crowder or Paul type is exactly what this teams needs IMO. Guys that are not afraid to call out their own team and get in your face.

Last night was another reminder that the recent stretch of good games was an absolute mirage. This team isn't tough/big/talented/motivated enough to come close to the other top teams, and Jimmy Butler or any other move won't change that fact.

I'm closer to blow it up than I've ever been. This current group aint it.

Not saying we should get Butler but times like this is where you need a Butler on your team. Someone thats not going to put up with other teams pulling this bully crap on us.

No one stepped in or did anything. No one should be doing that to your star player.

if you're down by 14 with a minute to go why are you unloading the clip
I didn't realize how much Booker "runs his mouth" until I started going to games again the past 3 years. I am not talking about what you see on TV. I am taking during TV timeouts when the cameras are off I have seen him just jaw. The last two times we had seats near the Suns bench my wife and I were like damn....he can be relentless. Dude...sit the hell down. Trash talk when your team is dominating. His timing sometimes is a bad look.

It is who he is, and who he's always been...I don't mind it.

I take no issue when the team is playing well and dominating. You look like an idiot when you are getting your ass handed to you or you made bunch of bad plays in a row or are turning the ball over.

I agree with you as a general principle, but that's just not how Book is built. Even dating back to him being a rookie, he's always been the same.

Not me. I was 100% on the blow it up bandwagon until the Richards deal. Now I'm only 98.00% on the blow it up bandwagon. If we can trade Beal straight up for Butler, that will drop me down another percentage point or two. In other words, BLOW IT THE HELL UP. But pick your timing. Do it on an upswing, like maybe yesterday before the collapse against Minnesota.

im just saying - if you're going to talk that mess you have to back it up - or no one's gonna respect you
The fact that McDaniels did that and Book didn’t punch him…that was completely unacceptable. Book was awful that second half. We had that 3 on 1 fastbreak where we should’ve easily scored and didn’t.

Book was getting to his middie and playing great in the first half. Why we stopped running offense and played Iso ball, I’ll never understand. Can’t have 9 turnovers in a game smh. I love Book but something is off with him and it’s very alarming

Book talks way too much trash to the players and complains way too much to the referees. Punching another player is just going to draw him a big suspension, it's not going to make anyone afraid of him enough to overlook his unstoppable mouth.

Nah I understand what you mean. But someone putting their hand in your face and you do nothing….that ain’t it. This team is soft. Ever since Mavs game 7, that stench still hasn’t worn off. Suns missed their title window and have regressed the last 4 years. Incredibly disappointing
