Got to Cox Pavillion at start of Suns/Wizards game and here are my personal observations on playeres from both squads:

Suns:

Barbosa. Looked as fast as ever but (and I think the Suns agree with me on this) he is no pure point guard. But a nice change of pace when he goes in for Nash.

Jackobsen. I wish Casey had the ability to finish. He had some nice drives to the basket and got fouled but he doesn't finish. He does make his free throws tho.

Lampe. Was spotty with his play. Missed some shots that I thought he should of made. In the fourth quarter he played well. He has talent it just is going to take some time. He isn't very quick but I thought he did a good job on defense. He gets beats when someone drives on him.

Vroman. Does the basics well. Not a Center. Lean with long body.

Derrick Dial. Made some nich shots but no chance sticking with the Suns. The last thing they need is another 6'5 inch shooting guard.

No one else on the Suns had a impression on me worth mentioning.

Stood for the 1st quarter of the 2nd game between Celts/Denver. The guy that really looked good during that time was Tschivilli from Denver. Celts have some big bodies.

Wizards best 2 players on their squad are Jarvis Hayes and Steve Blake.

Heard Bzdelik on Denver radio this morning and had a problem with Skita having no defensive rebounds.

Tschivillia

That's true coloradosun BUT in the first quarter that I saw he hit everything he threw up and also he made a nice ATHELTIC drive to the basket and pass off.

I stop bits and pieces of the Celtics game, and the guy who impressed me the most was Al Jefferson. I think he ended up with 27 points and six rebounds.

In the limited amount of time I was there for the Celts game he looked real good. I think the Celtics have a very nice player there. They are so big with Perkins, Brown, Jefferson, etc. It's funny because Marcus Banks went to UNLV and his family was there. All decked out in Celtic gear with shoes that had the letter 'M' on one side and the letter 'B' on the other side. Looking forward to see the Suns/Cavs match up tonight. Nice arena but very small.

I thought Jefferson was a very nice pickup for the Celtics considering where they were drafting. Considering their roster, it will be interesting to see if they match on any substantial offers for Mihm.
