In retrospect, before free agency started, I was a pretty large proponent of attempting to re-sign McDyess. (I also was against Nash, so 50/50 ain't bad) He looked pretty effective with Amare at the end of last year, and they were developing a decent repoire. I wonder how our team would look with McDyess, and if they would be better...Watching him play with the Pistons, he has looked extremely effective.

I didn't know he was a #1 pick!!! All I know is he got booed by Wiz fans. lol

McDyess would have been nice to keep but two things stood in the way:

- Signing Nash and Q ate up a lot of dough
- His injury problems are a big concern

Probably not. Most were calling Nash's signing ridiculous and excessive as well, his performance has quieted that talk. Sadly enough, McDyess is the most consistent offensive player on the Pistons.

I meant screaming then, I wouldn't if his production had been like this with the Suns

Antonio McDyess is playing on terrible knees. He's worked out pretty well this year, but I think that deal the Pistons gave him goes 3 and $18 million more. even though Q hasn't done well in the playoffs I would take him over McDyess.
