from MJ

NT
1. Russell Davis
2. Wendell Bryant

Under
1. Kenny King
2. Darnell Dockett

Darnell Dockett WILL be a starter or get a very significant amount of playing time. Very impressive.

Wendell Bryant is maturing and developing technique, etc...

It is pretty obvious on how the Cards are going to be using their DT's

...man, I never knew how much info I was missing being at school everyday...I LOVE SUMMER VACATION!!!

Doesn't give me confidence that our starting NT can't hold his ground and is always been blown up in the running game.

Yea, there isnt alot of confidence, bryant should finally play like a first rounder, if he plays well with king, expect dockett to have a great year

It says lets plug a guy who's gonna get run over while Bryant learns his technique down.

Thats not too bad as MJ did say WB is maturing now. Hopefully WB wont take too much time in maturing. Then again, I dont think Deke has that much patience to allow WB to take his time.

As long as WB finally produce for this team. Maybe this is his year to finally show why he is a 1st rounder

That isnt the job of our NT. Our NT is supposed to be a bigger version of the UT. Their job is to not hold their ground at the point of attack but to get up field and disrupted the backfield, which is why Bryant will eventually win the NT spot.

At least that is what I have gotten out of Greens D cordinators philosophy, Dekes background, and the moves they have been making.

Call it whatever they want but we still has to stop the run.

You dont have to just stop the run with a big NT clogging up the holes at the line of scrimmage. You can also stop the run by stopping it before it gets to the line of scrimmage by disrupting the play in the backfield. There is more then one way to stop the run.

Example Dallas didnt have a good run D because they had big beefy guys up front they stopped it by speed. Their biggest starting DT was 310.

Speed Kills.

I'm not contradicting what you said but whoever is our starting DL we still have to stop the run.

Notice he specifically mentions Shelton at tackle and Big at guard...

Remember: Coach Green was talking to the media...we are not supposed to believe him when that happens... ;)

Hmmm...

According to the Cards site King is now listed at 6'4" 271 and as a DE. If he's that light I don;t expect he'll get too much time at DT. Just a thought...
