Anyone have updates?

CJ - Knee injury
Ellington - Foot injury
Powers - Calf injury

The most concerning one here is definitely Powers, Cards too thin at CB to sustain good defense long-term. A calf injury shouldnt be a big deal as far as I know but he wasnt putting pressure on it, should be alright.

Thoughts?

Everyone is banged up. We had come through pretty clean so far, it was bound to catch up with us.

I fear that CJ is serious. Looked like a knee, but he did walk off so maybe not.

Ellington I fear that same old foot issue is back again. Sadly I think he may be another Beanie Wells, Reggie Bush, Arian Foster... Talented player, just cant stay healthy.

We never got a replay but it looked like Powers got hurt when Boldin peeled back and blocked him from the blindside when the play had already gone past him. Think it was on the long catch and run by the TE down the sideline.

The way several Cards were reacting it looked like they thought it was a cheapshot by Boldin.

So a strained calf would be a good thing, the way they were reacting I thought it might be much worse.

Probably means a game or two. May be a good thing in the long run so he has some down time before playoffs.

Those are my best guesses on the extant of missed time for them. Anyone notice how less effective the run game has been since Cooper has been out?

Not according to half the board. After a rough week last week, it was said he needs to be benched. Let's just throw in Cariel Brooks, was one comment. Though he's not even on the team.

If CJ and AE can't play I would re-sign Kerwynn Williams quick, fast, and in a hurry. Although we do have RB on the practice squad Dominique Williams that I must admit I know nothing about.

According to the Cardinal web site Williams is already on the PS. Him and Hughes are the only RBs on there. All they would have to do is promote him to the active roster.
