Stephen Curry won't be on the court for Jimmy Butler's highly anticipated return to the court against his former team, the Miami Heat, on Tuesday night in South Beach. The All-Star point guard is set to miss his second straight game with a pelvic contusion. Curry suffered the injury after a hard fall during the Warriors' win over the Toronto Raptors last Thursday at Chase Center.

Curry missed the first game of Golden State's six-game road swing before joining the team in Miami. Curry practiced on Monday and was initially listed as questionable for Tuesday's contest before being ruled out.

Steph Curry will not play tonight in Miami for the Jimmy Butler return game. Worked out yesterday and didn’t quite feel ready to return from the pelvic bruise. Warriors have two off-days prior to Friday night game in New Orleans.

With Curry out, the Warriors will start Brandin Podziemsk and Gary Payton II alongside Butler, Draymond Green and Moses Moody against the Heat on Tuesday. The Warriors will tip off against the Heat at Miami's Kaseya Center at 4:30 p.m. PT.
