I'm going crazy waiting to hear on how Wilson, Rolle, and especially DRC are coming along. Will they all play on Sunday? Argh! Help! I spent my entire lunch here browsing this board, and am left no time to surf the net to find anything out! Post some news (hopefully good) so that I can read it when I get home! :D

Wilson - yes for sure - he just had cramps
Rolle - more than likely yes
DRC 50/50 - my guess is no they'll sit him for a week.

Wilson just had cramps due to dehydration. Nothing a a 32 oz bottle of Gatorade can't cure

Rolle played the last series of the Giants' game and was roaming all around the field. He'll be fine

DRC's x-rays came out negative, so there is no bone damage. The results of the MRI have not been revealed, but I feel that there is no damage to tendons or ligaments; otherwise, we would have been told by now. The diagnosis is a low ankle sprain. It won't be the end of the world if he sits out for this game as McFadden can handle Smith and Adams can take Muhammed (if Delhomme or back up can get the ball in their vicinity). The Bears game is the game where we need to have our troops 100% and ready to go.

You are just wasting your time searching for anything right now.

Urban or Somers blog wont have the info until after the 1st practice which is today. And the practice doesnt end until 1:30 AZ time, 4:30 your time. Wait another 30 minutes for those reporters to do their interviews of the coaches and players and we wont know anything until 2 AZ time, 5 East coast time.

Who Covers Who? Next Sunday

Assuming that DRC can't go vs. Carolina (and we're in man-coverage) the logical assignment would be McFadden on Moose and Michael Adams on Steve Smith.

McFadden is physical.

Some have commented that Adams might be an elite cover corner if he was only 3-inches taller - a perfect matchup with another short, zig-zagger like Smith.

Incidently - when Antrel made that final pick, who was the other guy in double coverage? Was it Toler?

Don't the cards play sides, not individuals?

A sprained ankle means there is tendon or ligament damage, we just don't know how much. Keeping my fingers crossed it's minor!!!

An ankle sprain is by definition a straining of tendons and / or ligaments.

I don't understand why Boldin doesn't just sit this week. I guess having him at 50% against the Giants was important, but if we lose to the Panthers, it won't be because we didn't have him.

Dude... DRC had a low outside ankle sprain... They usually heal the fastest. Atleast they did for me in basketball. My worst ever was 7 days.

The two high ankle sprains I had lasted months!!!

Boldin knows even 2 weeks sitting won't help his ankle get 100% better and he'd lose his football shape also.

Its best to play through it.Its what pro football players do.Plus no one can tolerate the pain as well as Boldin.I just don't want it to hurt us in a game where we could have used a speedier player like Early Doucet who won't get activated if Boldin is gonna play the game.

Boldin's 3 catches were VERY key in that game.Fitz had a case of the bad hands in the giant game and We did'nt get to see much of Breaston at all.Urban was also not open downfield much if ever.Glad Warner did'nt fumble either of the two rough sacks that he had the ball out there.

Beanie needs to follow his lead blocker better all the time.He did some but he lost sight of him one other time that would have been a long gainer.Plus Beanie is'nt holding the ball well still. He's quite the risk and reward runningback.

Rewatching the game was'nt as impressive as it felt watching the whole game and you did'nt get as much time to focus on the bad calls that were missed except near the end of the game Collinsworth did everything to show Berry getting held bigtime or it would have been a safety on the giants.Bad refs to the max.Hope we never see them again.

We need to get our offense rolling this week with the panthers missing their starting two defensive tackles and the stud lb is hurting badly.Love our Michigan duo playing together.Gabe&Branch.:D
