BIm, I can't believe you can still be a Laker fan after complaining so much about people who live in Arizona, but aren't Cardinal fans.

Oh, that wasn't you. Nevermind.

Don't know who you were thinking of, but it definitely wasn't me.

BIM is gonna make people blow a gasket today. And I dont know why. We have the best record in the league. Where as, his Lakers sent away the one of the best players infavor of a perverted nomad. That has translated into the wonderful season that all us Suns fans should rejoice in. :D

only kidding

No problem, just didn't want any misunderstanding. :D

I don't care which team you pull for, I just feel you should support that team 100%.

Nothing worse than someone who comes to every Cards game in red...or Suns game in purple/orange...until their real team comes to play and suddenly they're in Dolphins gear...or in Chicago Bulls gear...etc. :barf:

Your team is having a great season. That doesn't bother me a bit. To me, you're just another team in our division.

What gets to me is the core of diehard Suns fans I've been exposed to all of my life...my family. If the Suns win 50 plus games in a season it's like they're already crowning them as champs. If the Suns lose a game by 1 point or 20...it was the refs. Etc, etc.

Personally, I'll love it when the Suns actually win a title. My family has suffered enough. They'll finally get to tell me "See, we told ya this was our year." :D

There are some big differences between this team and previous run and gun teams that have failed in the past. First of all, this team unlike say the New Jersey Nets of the last few years can consistently score when they aren't running. That's the beauty of Steve Nash. It's also the great thing about having several guys that can operate well in the low post as well as several very good outside shooters. It's also very difficult to keep this team from running. This isn't like teams in the past who have trouble running the ball unless they are getting stops and rebounds. This team runs on everything and keeps on running.

I agree that Phoenix may struggle if teams are allowed to play aggressive, groping defense on them in the playoffs. My hope is that David Stern makes a point of telling the officials that they want them to call a tight game. The NBA is excited and happy with the way several teams like the Suns are playing up-tempo basketball successfully this year. The last thing they want to see is those teams get wiped out in the playoffs because the officials are calling a different game.

I am reconciled to the fact that the Suns cannot win if the refs won't call fouls. Some teams are set up to respond in kind when the refs let everything go, but the Suns aren't. Perhaps they could use Bo more and use JJ and Q in the backcourt, but that is not the kind of personnell the Suns have.

Should they? I'd like to have a real banger available but most are not fast enough to play Suns basketball. Maybe in the draft they can get someone who is physical and still can run.

What is more important is mental. The Suns need to learn how to keep their composure when getting beat up. Composure is what the Spurs have and the Kings don't.

Amen to that!

You CANNOT have 2 favorite teams. You can like multiple teams (my other likes change every year), but one has to have the clear cut advantage IMO.

Yeah he should be getting at least 10-12 rebounds a game. Even Nowitzki is averaging 11 per game. I think it's a lack of effort. I remember his rookie year when he would put in crazy effort to get key rebounds, it was awesome. Now he's more concerned about running the fast break to get the highlight dunk.

His rebounding is much better lately though far from consistant.

In the last 4 games 12.5 rebounds/game for Amare.

In the previous 4?
5.5 rebounds/game. :|

I have noticed a much better effort and a few "WOW how did he get that rebound' moments lately. The only question is can he keep up that kind of effort? I hope so because it is fun to watch.

As far as the Suns in the playoffs, I agree they are not a physical team and have been bothered by physical play. I think it is just something they are going to have to learn to deal with. It is not like our guys are weak or something, they just have to play through it and play better under those conditions.

totally agree - the proof will be in the pudding and right now and I don't slighted at all if people aren't considering us favorites. I mean the last two teams, in their prime in this era that ran almost as well as us were the Kings and the Mavs, and no one ever took them seriously either - for good reason it turned out. To turn heads - and really get respect, you gotta do it in the playoffs - bottom line. Until nothing is really earned - people don't just hand out respect, you have to earn it and I have no problem with that.
