The Kansas City Chiefs made a savvy move in Round 2 of the 2025 NFL draft by picking up Tennessee Volunteers defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott with the No. 63 selection.

Much like Chiefs first-round pick Josh Simmons, Norman-Lott has very few holes in his game, but concerns about his health caused him to slide down draft boards far enough for Kansas City to pick him.

In 2024, Norman-Lott tallied four sacks and 18 combined tackles in 13 games for the Volunteers, a slight drop in production from his 2023 campaign.

While he wasn't the biggest or most productive defensive lineman in this class, Norman-Lott is a pro-ready tackle prospect who will benefit from his proximity to Chris Jones next season.

This might not have been the most exciting move for Chiefs fans after a long second round, but Norman-Lott's addition to Kansas City's roster could have huge implications for the defending AFC champions' defense for years to come.
