Please name five times Blount made a difference last season across his 256 special teams snaps.

TBF Blount did make some nice plays on ST's last year but also I'm not keeping him around just for those plays if there is a younger, cheaper alternative with more upside that's maybe not quite as good yet.

I would absolutely add Nick Chubb to this roster. If Connor gets hurt, we have no idea what Benson is, and none of the other running backs can carry a full-time load.

Chubb splitting the load with Connor will make this run offense elite. If his medicals check out, of course, and for around $5M max/year. Splitting the load probably suits both Connor and Chubb at this point.

Teams would absolutely want to trade for SMB.

Teams send picks for SMB quality players all the time. He's an experienced vet, has a tonne of starts and his contract is cheap.

By the time we get to August and teams have picked up camp injuries, there will be a market for him. Same with Justin Jones.
I certainly hope you are right

If the young guys show improvement, like we all expect, he's the odd man out

Getting any kind of compensation would be nice

Yes, he did. And the fact that you and chopper draw a complete blank on it should be a clue as to how well he played.
While he wasn’t good, I do not think that is fair. Jones was the guy opposing teams took out. The run defense significantly dropped after he went down.

I think he’ll be good as a supporting piece this year.

While I agree Know one knows what Benson is, I know Chubb is pretty much done.

K, are you serious? The man does nothing but hustle. Any punt downed inside the 10 is more often than not done by him. Nothing splashy maybe but I challenge you to name me a better ST player on the team. I lauded him numerous times in games last year. That much is fact, or I wouldn't have even tossed this out there.

That's very fair. That's what I was speaking about when I said if Burch usurps him than so be it.
