Hey guys, we are running the Interactive Mock again due to popular demand. The fan forums of each NFL team get to vote for who their team should pick.

Last time Bengals fans chose DaQuan Bowers and 59 people voted total.

You can cast your vote for who you want your team to pick this time around here:

Interactive Mock 2.0

And if you explain why with a brief short description, I will pick the best one and publish it along with the pick!

*For mods: This is not spam. I am just trying to get the right fans to vote for their respective team. We have done this already with most NFL team forums and have not had any issues. If you have any problems, please let me know.

you should save the results and compare to actual and see how it turns out

I like the idea of a "crowd sourced" mock

there is the story about the carnival game where people are asked to "guess how many jelly beans are in the jar" ---- and what studies have found is that when you take the average of all the people's guesses, the crown produced "average guess" invariably comes pretty close to the actual number. Maybe your vote driven mock draft will be similar.

Not much of a selection. No Gabbart, no Von Miller. There are others worthy of that pick as well.

Patrick Peterson is the pick here. Super Scout Steve Keim has raved about Peterson's potential as a playmaker, and with the selections on the board Peterson is the only player capable of making an immediate impact. Peterson's ability as a punt returner makes him even more valuable to the franchise, and the relative depth at the rush OLB position in this draft class will allow the Cardinals to pay attention to that position in the second round.

Yep.
I really think there will be a good OLB available in round three...and I'm thinking we'll there to be if Mallett is there in the second.

Love the write-up. Thanks man. I recognized your name too, you did the last write up for me when the Cardinals were OTC.

I like your analysis, but something tells me that Quinn will be special, and will be able to play at the OLB position. I'm not being rational in any way here, but relaying a gut feeling.

Right now Newton and Peterson are tied with 25 votes. Newton just snuck up on Peterson.

I think so, too, maybe. I had that Blink moment when I watched highlights of Quinn from two years ago. But that WAS two years ago, and I don't expect for there to be a rookie salary scale for this class. Do you want to invest $30 million guaranteed on a guy who hasn't seen a football field or taken on a blocker in 20 months?

I think that someone is going to get Dwight Freeney/Albert Haynesworth-type value with Robert Quinn, or they're going to get Jonathan Sullivan-type value for him. But I think the same thing is going to happen with DaQuan Bowers if he gets taken somewhere between 10 and 15.

I'm guessing that you love it because of all the unintentional alliteration. It reads out loud like a 1940s newsreel. :D

Quinn and Bowers are going to be the wildcards in the top-10 that could really shake everything up. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Quinn is the pick...in fact, I'd be really pretty excited.

Yeah they were both selected ahead of this pick. Check out the results section.

I plan to do that, love that example I hope the mock ends up pretty close too. Unfortunately we're going to learn a lot more about the prospects and where they are going to land closer to the draft. Since we had to start out one month prior to the draft, the teams that pick early are going to vote on their pick farther away from the actual draft date and so they won't have as much information as the teams that pick closer to the draft. If only there was a way to do this whole process in a week somehow.

BTW, Cam Newton now leads by one vote. Would anyone like to do a write-up for Cam Newton in case he wins? You don't have to have voted for PP7 to the Newton write-up.

Cam Newton may not immediately answer the question of who starts for the Arizona Cardinals at the beginning of the 2011 season, but it does answer the question of where the hope for the future of the Arizona Cardinals lies. Newton has the leadership abilities and the physical skills to become the latest prototype NFL quarterback and presents interesting parallels to a player Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt is familiar with: Ben Roethlisberger.
