I'm always so excited to read a Bull Durham quote from one of our local media writers. During the latest trade frenzy Coro didn't seem to have any more insight about what the Suns might do than anybody else.

And while any idiot can write a blog there are some excellent writers out there writing on their blogs every day. Some of them are even referenced by national media outlets. Of course some of them work for national media outlets.

Sure if I want to know personal information about Steve Nash I'll read the local newspaper stories but if I want good critical analysis of the team from and objective source there a lots of other places to go.

I would suggest that "Mainstream Media" is not longer the "Mainstream Media". When I want to know what is going on with the Team, I personally don't run to old, tired media outlets.

The country is turning the same corner, for just about all news. Print is Dead, and the big three TV channels are dying. Bloggers, freelancers, and even gossip columnists are the new "mainstream media".

I gotta say Ive held out on the robin bandwagon just about untill 2 or 3 days ago. I kept telling myself it was the hand of nash, and that hes just having a good streak but after seeing the team rebounding and defensive numbers...Hats off to rolo. Id like to see him continue to work on his individual rebounding obviously but man I was soooo wrong about him.
