I still think that neither McClain or Weatherspoon will be available, and that we could concievably be entertaining the thought of trading down into the top of the 2nd round.

I think we will reach and take Lee in the 1st.

Both very real possibilities, and neither would probably break my heart in that case.

I think he could but I dont think it would maximize his talents. I just don't think that you draft someone, especially in the 1st round, to play a different position than what you think they are best at. I know I am in the minority here (as usual) but I really like him as a 4-3 SSLB (think Orakpo last year). As an OLB he's a 1st rounder but as a ILB he a mid 2nd type IMO. Too much unknown IMO.

Quite the opposite, ive been saying exactly that for a couple of weeks now though more in regard to other players but i do strongly believe that you should not draft someone in the first couple of rounds in order to play them in a position that they are not yet the best at playing.

I'm still sulking over OSU's loss last night. How can you let a team that can't shoot outside 8 feet get 50, FIFTY, points in the paint? And then you have your best post defender and rebounder(Lauderdale) sitting on the bench the last 5 minutes with no foul trouble :bang:. It was an incredibly bad coaching job by OSU. They played that crappy 1-3-1 zone most of the game and Tennessee get dunk/layup after dunk/layup. How hard is it to pack a zone down and make them shoot the ball? It's a good thing Thad Matta can recruit because he's not a good game coach. If Tom Izzo was coaching OSU last night, they win by double figures. Vent over.

Bradford's shoulder appears to be checking out fine

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Thursday than Rams G.M. Billy Devaney and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur recently visited Sam Bradford and his doctors in Florida.

It appears they have liked what they've seen from Bradford medically.

Jeff Legwold of the the Denver Post writes that "Privately, word around the league is the Rams have received optimistic reports" on Bradford's surgically repaired shoulder.

The further into the draft process we've gone, the less Bradford's shoulder has seemed like a huge concern.

He can put a lot of anxiety to rest Monday at his pro day, the biggest day on the draft calendar until April 22.
