per NFL Radio on Sirius/XM

Leinart hasn't started yet and is a backup QB, true.......however, it's not as if he's backing Sage Rosenfals, or Derek Anderson, or a lower quality QB. He's the backup to Kurt Warner.......future Hall of Famer, Kurt Warner. He had a fantastic year, and is a phenomenal talent. There's a difference......it's like saying winning $3million in the lottery is a failure and disappointing because it's not as good as $4million.

I thought it was a good point.

And Vince Young is backing up the alchoholic old man Kerry Collins.. And Jay Cutler is pouting his way around the NFL..

Cant wait to see Matt show he was the best QB in that draft class..

Always said Young was the worst of that group... At the time of the draft, I had them ranked:

1.) Cutler
2.) Matty
3.) Young

Still feel that way... though, this will be an interesting year for Cutler.

Leinart hasn't started yet
Not sure I can get too interested in a premise that starts out completely wrong(or mis-worded). Leinart has been the unquestioned starter twice already.

The "playing behind a HOF'er" idea isn't interesting at this point because it was the rationale Whis himself used to the media when trying to diffuse the situation at the start of last year. Perhaps it's been forgotten by some but Whis has said from the start that it isn't about Leinart not being good enough it's about Warner being better right now.

This sort of rationalization isn't necessarily a good thing. To keep the fans satiated, sure. But for Leinart to completely buy into it isn't what I want from him. I want him to be pissed and striving to be better than Warner not conceding that he never will be. I think that's more what Whis is doing as well. I think it's been working too if the apparent growth by Leinart is any indication.

Speaking of USC QB's and photos, I wonder which will be considered "worse" between Leinart's indescretions and Sanchez's boy-toy exploration in GQ?
