Lovie Smith earns approximately 1.5 mil a year. One coordinator on another team (forget which one) earns 2.5 mil a year. Lovie will be shown the money this year as I think his contract is coming up.

His contract isn't up until after next season, contrary to what has been reported here that Smith is in his "lame duck" year.

Since the Bears are in the Super Bowl, Smith is looking at $4 million per year on his next contract. If they win, he could be looking at closer to $5 million.

Both Redskins coordinators earn about 2.5 mil.

Technically, next season would be considered his "lame duck" year if the contract is not extended following the Super Bowl.

Is there anyone that believes that Lovie won't be extended at a much higher salary?

PFT reported (yeah, I know :sarcasm:) that Dom Capers is getting $2.7 mil as the Miami DC, but the new HC is getting slightly less:

Amid news that Dolphins defensive coordinator Dom Capers finally has signed his three-year, $8.1 million contract to remain with the team, something has occurred to us.

Capers, at $2.7 million per year, is making more on average than the head coach.

Per the Miami Herald, Cam Cameron has signed a four-year deal worth approximately $10 million, which works out to an average of $2.5 million annually.
