Kurt Warner has played in 10 playoff games. His teams are 8-2 in those games. In five of those games, his teams trailed or were tied on the last drive, and they scored a TD all five times (4 passing TDs). Warner has a perfect passer rating of 158.3 4 TDs 0 INTs when the playoff game is on the line. No other QB has had this kind of success when the game is on the line -- not Brady, not Manning, not Montana, not Elway .... no one.

How is it possible for Warner to do that against playoff teams?

Simply Amazing. Amazing Grace if you will.

Where you get that stat? Awesome

On the Eagles Message Board, I was debating Warner's greatness with a fellow Eagles fan. The counter argument was that Warner has always had great skill position players on his team, and that he choked against the Patriots. Then I thought about it. He didn't choke against the Patriots -- the Rams scored on their final two drives. Add to that the drives against the Bucs and the Titans, and even the 2000 comeback against the Saints when the Rams rallied from 31-7 down to close it to 31-28 before losing the game on a muffed punt. I went back and checked the play-by-plays for each of those games, plus the final drive of the game against the Eagles.

I hold Martz responsible for that loss... his play calling was atrotious in the second half...
