This looks really fantastic. I smell multiple Oscars (though maybe that's just the rugby players).

You know how I know you're gay?

:D

I really want to see this. Rugby is a cool sport anyway.
Obviously you haven't been around it much then.

I will wait for this one on DVD I think. I remember the '95 Rugby World Cup very well so it'll be interesting to see what this looks like.

Yeah I saw this at my brother house and knew nothing about it.

It was a really great story and I love Morgan Freeman. Matt Damon did a fine job as well.

Great story. Not a great movie.

I recommend watching the "30 for 30" documentary The 16th Man. Much better.
Agree. Some of the acting is horrible. The rugby scenes at the end were embarassingly bad. Clint and Shane might like staring at sweaty rugby dudes for 20 minutes, but I don't. And by then you know what it doing to happen, so it was even worse.

THIS was the big Nelson Mandela movie?!?

:mulli: for me.

I have not seen this movie yet, and EVERYONE asks me about it.

But, the positive is I get A LOT of questions about rugby, the rules, how it is played, etc., etc. because of it.

Yes, rugby is a cool spot, that ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can play.

I recommend anyone who can, play a season or two. It is really fun, and social sport.

Watched this last night and thought it was excellent. Really showed the positive side of sports when it comes to mankind. Though it frequently divides us, it can unite it like no other.

Made me look forward to the Olympics too.

I recently watched it. I thought the acting was really good. Freeman was a perfect mandela. I'm not sure about the rugby scenes because I've never watched the sport but they looked pretty cool to me.
