Irish Wake for O this Saturday

Hi friends,

A few posters suggested getting together for an Irish Wake for O, and I think that's something he would have approved of. Plus, it just doesn't seem right to say goodbye without getting together for a toast or two (or three or four or ...).

I've reserved the loft/upper area of Rosie McCaffrey's (in Bill's hood) for this Saturday starting at 6 p.m. Come out and share your memories and stories, hang with your fellow posters and toast our friend, Bill. Everyone is welcome, but please post if you plan to swing by so I can give them a rough head count. There is live music at 9:30 p.m. for people that want to come later in the evening.

I also created an event on facebook and have shared it on the ASFN facebook group if you want to check it out.

Yes, on Camelback. And of course no one minds! It's an open event, so everyone is welcome. There will be some of Bill's friends and coworkers from outside of ASFN there as well.

People can pop in, come and go as they please or hang for hours. Whatever feels right for you.

Btw, one of the band members playing that night knew Bill and saw the event posting on facebook. He's gonna stop by before the set starts.

The band plays around 9, and I am guessing people will still be hanging out, so come later if you want. I can also give out my cell number if anyone wants to text before heading over.

Btw, Shane, we'll likely be in Vegas next month. We can toast Bill then.

Bill brought a lot of people together tonight. Wished he was there, though then again, had he been there it never would have happened.

There are still no plans for services, as O's brother is ill. A bunch of us talked about doing some fundraisers to help out with final plans. So, if you're interested, I will post events as they happen.
