Leo is a fantastic actor. He's probably my favorite under 35 out there.

Michael Cera is the best young comedy actor out there.

And Scarlett is the best young actress.

OK I really liked 3:10 to Yuma but I like most of Russell Crowe's movies but I thought Bale was good in it.

I cannot believe this... you guys are defending HIM!!!! My God!!! Christian Bale is an HORRIBLE actor!!! He cannot play anything! He ruins everything in The Dark Knight which is a great movie!!! The worst is that he is with a bunch of excellent actors, I cannot believe that Warner casted him!!! What a shame!

I don't say he is the worst, but he is with: Orlando Bloom, Ben Affleck, Nicholas Cage, Steven Seagal, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Robert Pattisson, Zac Efron, Chuck Norris, Vin Diesel, The Rock, Paul Walker and , of course, Christian Bale. Those are HORRIBLE actors.

And I've also seen someone says that he is an ''amazing actor''... I mean, are you blind? It's an insult to even call him an ''actor''! Dustin Hoffman, Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Heath Ledger, Jon Voight, Joe Pesci, Daniel Day-Lewis, Harvey Keitel, Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood, etc. THOSE are great actors!!!! Bale is NOTHING!

You're putting Sylvester Stallone in with Gene Hackman and Robert DeNiro? Really? Most of your list of horrible actors is spot on, although I would remove Dwayne Johnson from that list. And based on JCVD, perhaps Van Damme as well.

Stallone IS a great actor

Great? No. But certainly a good one. Copland, Rocky (first), First Blood all stellar performances. Has a few more I just can't think right now.

We have a credibility issue there.

Nope. Dude gets a bad rap. He isnt Oscar caliber but he is a better actor than many give him credit for and is cetainly better than Bale. I quantify that Oscar comment because he was Oscar worthy in Born On The 4th Of July.

Horrible.

Bale is horrible. I have yet to get through any of this movies, because his acting is so ridiculous I just end up laughing at how amazingly bad he is.

Cruise is not a good actor - he plays one role

Don't get me wrong, I tend to like his movies because I tend to like that role

But it's usually "arrogant young X is self centered and trying to shoot towards the top of the world until he interacts with situation Z which helps him mature and ultimately come out on top a better person - this transformation will also shore up a rocky romance and help him get the girl" ..... the main difference is if he's an airline pilot, a pool player, a bartender, yuppie, race car driver, lawyer, etc

He plays a good role in movies with that kind of tempo and pace - as long as he stays in that zone he's enjoyable (if not great - valkyrie is a good example of this, as is war of the worlds)

He was great in Tropic Thunder. Where he wasn't even a good looking guy.

I don't think he's necessarily a bad actor, I just don't think he deserves to be in the same paragraph as Gene Hackman and Robert DeNiro.

yeah - that was a great role - really funny stuff

but I think we all know if they spun off the character, the trauma from dealing with such an issue and almost being confronted with real death would bring about an enlightenment - he's get more involved in charity, by building houses for the homeless he would get into better shape

one of those homeless people would be a down on their luck scientist who will embrace their second chance and reward him for his kindness with his scientific expertise - regrowing hair!

now being a humanitarian with a buff bod and a full head of hair he'll be asked to speak at his HS commencement - something that he scoffed at in the past, but now embraces

during this he'll bump into his old HS flame, who is supermodel quality - she works as a teacher helping kids from troubled backgrounds meet their full potential - she's off course skeptical about his intentions with her, but upon witnessing him interact with her most troubled of students and impart his life wisdom onto this child it touches her heart and spreads her legs all in one fell swoop

Meh. You could say the same of Morgan Freeman all of his roles are the same. Yet he is a good actor too.
